  • Amie -- What a beautiful transformation!! You and I are the same height and weight Not the same age though I'm way older 48 ... You are much more endowed in the chest area though , I am almost flat .... Anyways, I digress, YOU look awesome ....
  • Thank you Ilene, we are all shaped different and have to work with what God gave us. Just think....I have lost like 10-12 inches up there and am now a DD! The down side is shoulder pain (not as much now) and I can not run..........

    Amie
  • Aime, I am so glad that you shared your pictures. I am 5'2" and within 10 pounds of your current weight. I'm still a DD too - which is a pretty big haul for such a short frame. I've lost inches in my bust but haven't even put a dent in my cup size. Anyway, it is always nice to see progress pictures of someone with a similar build because it helps me keep a more objective body image for myself. And it is nice to have an idea of the difference 10 pounds will make too!

Congratualtions on your weight loss. You look absolutely fabulous!
  • Amie, you look gorgeous - congratulations!!!
  • Amie! Wonderful photos! Congratulations and thanks for sharing.

I just love your signature line: Begin each day as a new start and never give up the fight to be fit. Amen, sister!
  • Howdy folks,

Since I'm new here I figured I'd start by posting some pictures. I've managed to drop around 240 pounds, you can see some of my progress at (no pictures of me at my heaviest):

  • Wow spud! Congrats on the weight loss! You look greeeeeeeeeeat!
  • SPUD !! Wow, great accomplishment !! How long did it take you to lose all that weight??
  • Wow, Spud, you look fantastic! What an amazing transformation!
  • Thanks for all the encouragement folks. To answer Ilene's question, I started at 02/12/02 at a weight of 457.5 pounds. by 08/29/03 I weighed in at 181.5 pounds, "normal" by BMI standards, but considered gaunt, skinny and unhealthy looking by pretty much everyone around me. So the bulk of my weight was lost pretty quickly -- about a year and a half.

  • That truly is amazing - you look awesome - congratulations!!
