Question Feeling seriously hungry after....

I wanted to ask you all, is it normal to feel seriously hungry a while after having a low carb meal. I mean I had tuna on a bed of greens-later felt hunger pangs. Had dinner- scallops and broccolli-later felt hunger pangs. Had a protein smoothie-later had a hunger pang. By later Im talking about an hour or so. I dont know if its my imagination but when I get them I really want to go eat popcorn, crackers or rice cakes- something! And, if this is discussed in any book in particular please tell me so I can figure it out. Thanks!

How long have you been low-carbing? Sounds to me like the carb-cravings you get at the beginning of Atkins. Try adding more fat to your meals - it is much more satifying. Real mayo on the tuna - lots of butter and/or cheese on the broccoli. Maybe increase the protein too.

Try eating more times a day... in smaller quanities... also find some "snacking" ideas and keep them in the fridge for when you are having a "moment". I usually only feel those pangs when I am really craving some sweets and thats when I have a serving of Miracle Fluff! Found the receipe on the boards! Best of luck!
