I don't know if any of you have tried the Keto brand shakes. IMO they are the best. No after taste at all and they are as thick as a milk shake. Come in some yummy flavors and are pretty reasonable in price considering how the price of shakes go. I don't care for the strawberry but all the other flavors are to die for.

heres the addy...

Many of the girls from another board I post on are doing the 2 shakes a day and one moderate LC meal. Just like the slim fast but with a LC twist and have been getting some really good results doing it too.

Ah! I made my shake this morning using yoghurt and whipped it up all together--very yummy and low carbish! Just watching the carb content in the yoghurt and I'm quite happy with the results!

Angry Thanks Vanessa!

Actually I did the grocery shop today. THERE IS NO SUGAR FREE YOGURT in the groceries around me! I broke down and bought Carb Solution bars and shake mix. I bought some of the ingredients for the other shakes but need to go to prob GNC for the rest of the ingredients.

I really think the shakes are going to work for me during the day as I am really not hungry but this is something I can do to keep the protein in my system.

I'll let you know how it goes, Thanks again for all your input! Where in the world do I find sugar free yogurt? What brand?

Luv to all ~~

J

Default hey mamaj!!!

how's it going???

i'm afraid i don't have good news on the sugar free yogurt front. we've all been having trouble finding it [and by WE, i mean the surgeried folks]. we can't hve more than 15 grams of carbs at a time, and that's hard to find with those fructose-loaded yogurts.

the best we've been able to do is axelrod's, a local brand. fructose is way down on the list of ingredients, but it's still there.

if someone wants to be absolutely sure about their yogurt, the best bet is to buy plain and add flavorings, or to make their own.

no one has tried health food stores, though, so maybe i'll make that a weekend mission... i'll keep you posted.

I'm sorry I should have mentioned that I buy plain organic yogurt and add vanilla and splenda. The only sugar free yogurt we have here in the sticks has nutrasweet and I don't want my kids to have that.
