G'morning chickies... I've been MIA since early this week. Draggin' my butt back home from work and falling into bed........ the nasty chest/sinus/cough/asthma/cold monster has me in it's grips and just doesn't want to let go.......... just wanted to say hi, I've not died, but I've also NOT excercised or eaten right....... of course, I've not eaten much of anything since Wednesday - do you think the scale has moved???? NOOOOOOOOOO - of course not! well, it's back to the pillows for me with a hot cup of coffee (I know, you're all gonna tell me to drink tea, but I don't LIKE tea!!)....... have a good day, Valentine's Day, and weekend........ I'll try to come back later (if I'm still alive and kickin', that is!)

to all of us! SonoG, so sorry you are sick! Cuddles and licks are on their way from Hershey and Lucy!
A quiet day in Delta today - except for the back hoe continuing to dig next door. Steve now thinks his septic system is frozen. I DO know where it is but am staying out of that one in more ways than one!

Hehe, Ruth, good idea. Best not to be a sh*t-disturber.

Hey, Sono. Sorry you've been feeling so lousy. I don't think it matters what you drink as long as it's hot. So, tea, coffee, soup, even plain hot water will all help clear up the old chest and sinuses. Feel better soon.

Not much happening here. I've been trying to turf out our master bedroom. I collect so much useless junk, it's unbelievable. Boxes from pots and pans, books, magazines, fabric. I'm a clutterbug. So, now it will look nice for a while until it all gets away from me again.

I'm so happy for you Sue !!!
I started induction today, I'm having a hard time getting back into the swing of things since Christmas, so from now until Easter I'm going to be really good (for lent, but earlier lol).

Happy Sunday everyone

Congrats, Sue! That is great!

Sono - Hope you're feeling better now. Been some nasty crud going around this year. My brother and his family passed it amongst themselves for nearly all of December and January! I thought they were NEVER going to be well (plus, my brother almost ended up in the hospital as he is a bad smoker and overweight - he always gets the sickest and it takes dinamite to get him to the doc)

Catch up day around here today. I moped the kitchen floor (TWICE! Cody spilled powered choco. milk in there and it was STICKY) and organized and paid (online banking) all the bills, filled out forms for Melis' college, etc. Feels good to be a bit more organized. Maybe Linda's bug is contageous. (I hope so!)

Sad day at the ball field yesterday. Bry's JV team was playing a practice game against the varsity and Bry rolled his left ankle (again). He has sprained them before and from what I read, once they are sprained they are suseptable (sp) to re-spraining quite easily - as we have unfortunately found out. We iced and elevated and wrapped yesterday and again today. It is better and not as bad as the previous injuries but he sure WON'T be pitching for varisty in a practice game tomorrow morning as planned. He is really tore up about it too - it was such an honor to be asked to pitch (varsity is missing a few players still due to basketball) but he certainly doesn't need to hinder his recovery at this stage. His JV coach sounded relieved when I called him and said that he wouldn't make it tomorrow morning - he has big plans for Bry and wants him recovered for the start of the season on the 25th.

Tomorrow is a day off - I need to finish laundry (never ending laundry...) and also go out and buy a suit! I haven't owned a nice suit for over a decade now but CPA Mike and I are going to a new client's office for an audit starting Tuesday and I got his hint that he wanted us to make a great first impression.

Hope everyone had a nice Valentine's Day yesterday. I didn't have a honey to share it with but you know what, that was just fine. I also didn't have anything to feel disappointed/resentful about and THAT was a nice change from years past!

chat at ya tomorrow -

Kel
