Tummy, does 3 slices of bacon fill you up? That would be worth a try, but I am afraid I will start gnawing on my hand before lunch time!

Today:

B 2 eggs and 2 slices bacon

S almonds

L stir fry shrimp and veggies (Chinese...probably corn starch.. )

D chicken salad
small romaine/red pepper salad

I will never go back to eating canned chicken salad again after having fresh with chopped up chicken! Gosh I think I could eat this stuff every day. I mix equal amounts of mayo and sour cream, toss in some sliced almonds, and salt and pepper. YUM.
Needs nothing else.

Tomorrows challenge: Olive Garden is being catered in at work. Actually, I am the one that has to pick it up and deliver it. 6 pans of various pasta, 3 large salads, 48 breadsticks, and two desserts. If I am not enough of a sucker, I offered to make my yummy quadruple chocolate cake, which is in the oven now. I told myself that I may eat dessert IF I just can't stand it, but no bread and pasta. I am trying to not eat any of it, but I think semi-allowing it ahead of time will make me not feel so restricted and then I won't want it as bad. We'll see if the psychology works!

Post Wednesday

Actually Jennifer, it does fill me up because despite nearly 2 months of eating breakfast I still have a bit of difficulty getting stuff down and I tried eating at work but I didn't have time and ended up skipping it altogether. In the beginning I could eat 3 eggs and 3 slices of bacon but now if I can manage either I'm one happy lady. Then not usually hungry until 12 or 1pm. It really blows my mind some days. So another OP day ahead...

B
coffee w/splenda
2 scrambled eggs
(4)

L
taco salad
(2)

D
grilled chicken breast
2 cups lettuce w/caesar dressing
(1)

Ratio: 64F/3C/33P
Total: (7)

Been having some small nagging cravings the last few days. May be related to the devil tuna salad or the fact that in general I've been eating out a lot the last few days so hopefully a couple days at home will balance that out.

And Froufy, I'm there with you in water world, ugh, 3 pounds are here to visit and they are very nasty house guests let me tell you.

My goodness Froufy, that's really excellent! Way to go!

I have a question: I'm a terrible muncher(even when I'm not at all hungry), and I'm trying to cut down, but generally, would it be better to munch on things like nuts and cheese which are lower carb but so high in fat and calories or on salad, which is higher carb but low carb/low cal? The latter seems to defeat the purpose of Atkins somewhat, but with the former(esp. nuts) it's so hard to moderate...

Well if you are doing Atkins, he wants you to eat 3 cups of salad a day anyway. Are you eating that much? If not, I'd go for the salad. Maybe all you need is a crunch and chew, and not really food. The fiber will be good for you. Just watch the toppings, that is where the carbs add up.

Froufy, Outback has a GREAT salad. I can't remember if it was Cobb salad or Walhalla salad...but my gosh, I've never seen one so big. It is truly big enough for two meals, so if you order one, ask for a box right from the start!

Today:

B Uh.....I think I forgot to eat! I don't recall eating it...

L Salad with chicken salad on top. Mmmm.

S about 4 bites of white choc raspberry cheesecake

D Roast beef sandwich on pumpernickle. Can you believe it? I made it through Olive Garden and I ate pumpernickle. I went to a belated birthday dinner with my friends and that was the best I could do in that restaurant!

Good morning! Well I blew it last night. I ate what I had planned, but then DS wanted some ice cream and he couldn't get it scooped out and unfortunatley it was cookies & cream, one of my favorites! I couldn't resist and I had a cup. It was good, but not as good as I remember it. Oh well, back on the wagon today.

B-2 eggs scrambled, 1 oz montery jack cheese, coffee w/ 1tbsp cream & 1 packet splenda
(4)

L-taco salad(Tummy you've rubbed off on me)w/sour cream & picante sauce dressing
(5)

D-2 egg omelette w/cheddar cheese, onions, bell peppers
(5)

S-sf jello and some hot chai tea

No ice cream tonight!!! I think from now on I will buy the pint size for DS. He doesn't need a big thing of ice cream lurking around either. Everyone have a great day!

Froufy, what kind of flax cereal do you eat?

Today:

B: None...shame on me, got busy, then it was lunch time!

L Peanuts and a grilled chicken garden salad w/ranch. 2 bites of Rob's yeast roll. (we were at a steakhouse)

S One dorito. Shame on me again!

D Grilled chicken with chipotle wine sauce, sauteed onions and green beans, and a handful of tortilla chips and salsa.

Ok, today wasn't so good. Think skipping breakfast threw me out of whack? I guess I'll see on the scale tomorrow if any damage was done.

Oh yeah, 45 minutes on the treadmill.
