Hope you don't mind if I join in! I just started Atkins on Saturday (the 5th). I think this will really help.
Breakfast
1.1 oz muenster cheese (0.33)
4 oz honey turkey breast (4)
2 T cream cheese (0.8)
32 oz H2O (0)
Subtotal = 5.13
Wow - 1 g per ounce for lunch meat. Is that typical? I will need to look for an alternative!
Lunch
2 C spinach (.4)***
3.5 oz salmon (0)***
1 t Horseradish sauce (1)
Flavored water (0)
Subtotal = 10.13
OK, so my costco food lables seem way off. Atkins says that 1.5 C spinach (raw) has 9 cal, 1.5 carb ond 1.2 fiber, for .3 net carbs...The spinach bag says 40 cal, 10 carb, 5 fiber for 5 net carb!! Huh? Ingredients are spinach, water, salt. Same deal with salmon (but not quite so different) Will have to ask about this in a separate thread!
Dinner
3.5 oz salmon (0)
2t horseradish sauce (2)
Subtotal = 12.13
Other
several vodka and club soda's (0)
Subtotal = 12.13
Not bad on the carbs, but those drinks were surely not necessary!

Thanks Leens! I have to count calories, because when I get deep into induction, I tend to eat very very little. Im just not hungry. So I make sure I have eaten the bare min. of 1200 cal a day. Ive never experienced the feeling of NOT being hungry before low carbing, so I actually forget to eat lol. This is why I have to keep track.

well, I will just post with you guys. What a great idea to list all of our foods, plus, I am getting more ideas of what to eat on this diet.
Thursday
Breakfeast = 3 eggs (1 whole egg, 2 egg whites) decaf coffee with Sweet n' low
Lunch = lettuce with cucumbers and small can of tuna
Snack- celery stalk with cream cheese
Dinner = hamburger patty, lettuce salad with cheese and olives, onions fried in butter, and I don't know where this came from, but I also had several slices of roast beef lunch meet. ( I think that roast beef is suppose to be one of the better choices between lunchmeats, right? I don't believe that it is as processed or contains as many nitrates as other lunch meats)
Desert- Several tablespoonfulls of Ready Whip. *(We can eat that, right?) It is the only thing I can find for desert!
One question girls - Where are you getting the carb gram content that you list with your foods? I hope I'm not going over, but I would like to know for sure. Thanks for the help!
