Default Lost pets!?

My vet gave me this website after Rosie got her rabies vaccination this morning. It's a free service to register your animals if they go missing and open to Canadians. What a great idea!

You can also have a computer chip put into your pet's neck. There is a central registry for this which can get your pet back where he or she belongs in no time flat! Vets and humane societies and dog catchers can read the chips with a scanner.
One of Morna's dogs got lost in Toronto and was back home before the master had finished looking for him in the neighbourhood!

I'd forgotten all about that! It's been ages since I had a pet, until recently when I acquired my son's dog, Lola. She went missing last summer, after he left his door open, and she was gone a good 24 hours. It was so scary, as she's nearly blind and she's so small, a car would never see her.

I think I'll check into that, thanks for the reminder.

I still have the puppy here! I got her a muzzle and that seems to have helped and that with her caging has helped greatly. she still has accidents but not as frequently.
