Default ? on ketosis

I was reading on another board about this ketosis and how others get such a high reading on their stick's, Yet all i ever get for a reading is a reading from small to a trace? I drink alot of water everyday (abt 120 oz) I eat anywhere from 12 to 19 carbs a day. I know the book states not to worry as long as you show some color.
What i wonder??? Is does someone who show's a low reading a slow loser compared to someone who has a higher reading?
This just popped in my head and so i thought i would ask you chick's what you thought. OK now i'm off to the dungon (basement lol ).

Don't obsess over the sticks. If you drink enough water you will show just a small amount. Time of day makes a difference too - some folks show darker at night.
I don't bother testing when I'm on Atkins.

Chuckie--I am on day 10 an on day 6 my Ketostix read moderate (80) and they still do--I'm not sure what the problem is either, but like Ruth says--"Don't obsess over the stix!!)

It really depends on when and how much water you drink. You should not be aiming for a higer reading because that means you are heading for dehydration. I'll try to find the reference in the Atkins book.

Well this is all a big relief! My sticks are always in the small to moderate range. I am just glad they turn at all! As long as somthing happens. it means I am doing something right...right?
