How to remove knuckle callus'?

I walk.... A LOT. My doctor doesn't know what's wrong with me. She thinks I might have like a tic (But not tourettes). It's in my arms and hands too. Been that way since I was 3. For me it just relieves excess-and very uncomfortable- energy.

Anyways I listen to music while I do this. And I do it through the iPad.

The iPad has a cover on it made of rubber. And it constantly rubs against my knuckles. Now I have callus'. I started off with two but today my knuckle was stinging was I took a look and another is forming on my index finger. The worst is on my middle finger. It's really bad.

My mom is worried that it's a bad idea to remove them from that area. Anyone had them? How did you remove it?

generally i use pumice gently to remove calluses. but you may want to consider changing how you hold the ipad or the cover you use on it since it will keep coming back.

There are callus removing medications that pretty much dissolve the skin, but I don't recommend using them on your hands because they can sometimes leave painful cracks in the healthy surrounding skin.

For you, I would move the iPod to a different spot and apply deep moisturizing hand cream twice a day. Eventually, the callus will fall off in probably about 6 weeks. Don't pick at it, don't peel it off. Just moisturize it, remove the cause of the callus, and let the regrowth cycle of your skin take care of the rest.
