This time around I really don't need any "skinny" clothes (got boxes and boxes of them in the garage). In fact, there is nothing I really need at all. The only thing I can imagine would be 1. cosmetic surgery or 2. travel. But unless there is a financial miracle, neither of these is going to happen. So I will say, I think am going to splurge and have a spa day (never had one before), a mani-pedi, AND get Brazilian keratin treatment for my hair.

I couldn't wait until I got to goal weight before buying new clothes. I went nuts on Black Friday and got some skinny jeans, knee-high boots, a new winter coat with a slimming waistline, a couple different scarves and some long-sleeve t-shirts with cardigans to go over them. I've never been able to layer clothes before without looking like a marshmallow man so I hope these clothes look good on me. I haven't tried them on yet because I ordered them online. They are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. I can't wait to see them in person. I hope they fit!
Edit: I got my new clothes and tried them on. I still look like a marshmallow man when I layer clothes. The long-sleeve t-shirts are form fitting so my stomach sticks out and when I add a cardigan over-top it looks bad. Yuck! The good news is that the boots fit perfectly and I ordered the jeans a size smaller than I usually wear and they fit great! I'm not sure if I should keep the shirts or return them. I think they will fit nicely once I lose my big stomach roll but that might not happen for a couple of months (or a year). Maybe I should just return them and buy some nice sweaters instead.
Also,
saraphin,
There are hundreds of threads on this forum. You don't need to post 9 times in a row in the same thread. Why don't you contribute to other threads instead? If you want an easy way to get your post count up, you can visit the Goal! section and congratulate others on their hard work.

goal!?!?!?!
Wow yeah so many things... I think I'll probably get a tattoo and some nice skinny jeans!
Been debating about boobs, can't decide if it's worth it or if I'd be happy but hate mine.... seems like some serious surgery though... I have B/C range which would be solid B when I was like 160-180lbs... uneven to boot.... dunno, anyone else looking at this? worth it you think?

NightAngel26 If you think a new chest when you hit goal will help make you feel more like yourself, and you can afford it then go for it. But I gotta say, I'm on the itty bitty titty committee, and I LOVE it! Not so much now that I'm fat, because my gut makes them look absurd. But when I was thinner, I loved how much perkier my boobs were because they were tiny. And I could wear cute summer dresses without risking quadraboob in a strapless bra, or risking taking someone's eye out. I love not having to strap on a bunch of hardware to go out in the morning; I used to wear flimsy, gauzy bras without so much as a molded cup and not worry about it. I loved them so much more than the giant things I wear now.
My mom has giant, giant natural boobies (it runs in her family), and she's gorgeous and I'm not knocking anyone's physique. But I do think it's important to remember that we're all beautifully unique and a difference is not necessarily a wrongness.

Another tattoo, that runs from my shoulder down to my thigh across my hip and back.... It might take a while to get to the point where that will actually look nice though.

I have been using Unnique Deep Repair Treatment kit for years now. It made my hair really shiny and smoothie. When you apply it the hair feels a little sticky, but after you wash your hair a couple of days later it feels great. I would definitely buy it and use it again. And it lasts too. Both the product itself and its effect on the hair. You only need a little bit, not a lot. So you'll have it for months. It's been more than a month since I first used it and my hair still feels and looks great.
