I love wearing dresses all year, and I know so well what you mean. It's really hard to find dresses with sleeves, so that I can wear dresses in winter.

I wear dresses almost daily (I love them!) and I find a fair amount of dresses with sleeves. Sweater dresses are a personal favorite, and there are many wrap dresses and shirt dresses out there with 3/4 length sleeves.

That is true for work dresses or every day dresses, not so true for dressier dresses - formal and cocktail dresses. I have a couple 3/4 length sleeve dresses, but those are great for work/Sundays.

Absolutely - I agree. In cocktail events, I tend to just go for sleeveless and wear a coat until I get inside. Usually cocktails make me warm

I misunderstood IsabellaOlivia to mean she was speaking of daytime dresses. My mistake!

All this talk about this dress and I might not be able to fit into it this weekend!!!

I've been on an antibiotic and have gained 8 pounds in water weight in 5 days! I know it's not my eating, but water retention, but that dress fit like a glove and has no give. I'm afraid it will be tight and not look as good if I've added all this bloat (and at this point you can definitely see the bloat). Ugh...

And, our date night is supposed to be this weekend - however it's also my son's high school homecoming (we should go) and I have a cake to make for Sunday and we have promised our younger son a trip to the pumpkin patch... how are we going to fit in a date? I'm beginning to think the following weekend, but Halloween weekend is when TTOM is due too - so more bloat and I'm sure a busy party/event weekend.

This is what always happens around our anniversary - keeps being put off.

Melissa, I hope your bloating eases before your date night. I wanted to comment on your dress though. I like that it's so versatile. You could easily add a turtleneck and/or jacket, tights and boots for winter. As you get smaller you can layer under and belt it more. For someone that's generally freezing most of the time I'm always layering. I usually have at least 3 layers on during fall/winter and 2 during spring/summer.
