Anyone else play/fiddle with their extra skin? Ok, don't dismiss me as a total weirdo... but I find myself pinching and pulling at it... I sometimes leave bruises on my arms becaues I'm always fascinated.. there use to be fat there. My arms, tummy and neck are the places I do this (and sometimes even the tops of my boobs).

I'm a runner and I am also fascinated by the muscle definition in my lower legs... I will never forget the first time I noticed that. It's like a whole chunk of fat fell off and left this carved muscle behind. Sometimes I just look at it and feel it.

AuntyJam, I do fiddle with that skin. It is somehow disturbing and exciting at the same time. lol But the thing that's killing me is that my 8 year old son is intrigued by it. He wants to play with it all the time. And he's always trying to jiggle various parts of me. I'm not sure if I'm annoyed or if it's sweet.

The part that always surprises me when I see it is my lower thighs. I definitely spend more time staring at my thighs than the average person. My stomach has also made huge progress. I had looked maybe five months pregnant since my 2 1/2 year old was born and now I don't look pregnant at all, I just have a bit of pudge. And I have ankles again, thank god. My ankles have never been delicate looking, but I am so glad to have them at all.

When the hips and shoulders and collar bones start popping through, I'll think of this thread.

The other day, as I was driving to work, I happened to glance down for some reason. I was momentarily caught off guard because what I was seeing didn't look like me. There was so much room between my belly and the steering wheel and I could see SO much of my lap. It was weird.

Also, I fiddle with the skin - it's weird but I can't seem to stop.

Actually after a bad experience of being fat when someone gets slim...people gets so happy that they themselves don't realize what they are doing..they don't even feel that they are doing something weird or odd...it happens!

I always pull up my shirt and look at my stomach in the bathroom. Also, yesterday I noticed my watch was starting to get loose, and I couldn't stop playing with it. I can't wait until my fingers shrink and I can wear my favorite rings again without fear of them getting stuck!

YES - this! I noticed today that my "apron" is almost COMPLETELY gone and I cannot stop tripping out on how my stomach just leads to my hip bones and down to my thighs, no rolls, no folds, no anything!

I'm always touching my collarbone. Still can't believe the top part of me is small enough now to have them protrude out. =O....and I'm always sitting indian style. I couldn't never do that in middle school or highschool, but now that I can, its a natural and comfortable way to sit

I feel my chin a lot too...I want the chin to go away! And when I lay on my back I look at my belly. It's flattening out, but it's also kind of...swimmy? I feel like my fat is no longer part of me. Instead, I feel like it's hanging off my body. Has anyone else experienced that? I have a really wide frame, so I've always had my hip bones, but they're starting to stick out more.

i have really tiny hands, so one day i realized that i was holding my wrist between my pointer finger and thumb and i could never do that before. also, it kind of hurts to sit on the ground and lay on my stomach on the ground because of my bones. and i can feel my entire spine pretty much and its sooo weird... haha but pretty much thats it

OH yes, to all of these!! I love feeling my hip bones in bed, but yes bumping them into things is an ouchie!! My shoulders, my fingers and arms, my biceps....all of it hiding under all that fat all these years! I am always touching my collar bones. Lol...it's just so new to me and it feels so awesome.
