I am also sad to see my boobs go. I'm about halfway through my weight loss and I've probably gone down half a cup size. I don't mind that so much as how much perkiness I have lost. They're kinda droopy now.

In my overall weight gain over the past 10 years of about 75-80 pounds, i've gone up a cup size, and from a 36 to a 40... I'm hoping when I lose the weight I'll still be a D, but luckily if I'm not, there are SO MANY amazing bras out there that keep the sag perky, keep the C looking like a D and keep the girls looking fabulous! I know Victorias Secret bras are expensive, and honestly I've had some which destruct quite quick (maybe because of my lack to wash them differntly then just throwing them in the washer dryer withthe rest of my stuff), but they do have so many great options and it's an investment

Same here!
I wear a 40/42 DDD..sometimes an F if it's a custom fit bra and I really don't want to lose them. They're kind of what I'm famous for around here.. Guys stare at boobs regardless, but I've had straight women stare at them too and actually come up to me on the street and compliment them which I can't lie, was an ego boost.
My mother in-law's boss (who is in her 80s) actually complimented my husband on them. Needless to say, he didn't really know what to say. And I've never had an issue with back pain.
I expect to go down several cup sizes as I lose the weight, but I'd like to keep right at a D/DD cup. I think I was a 38 C at my skinniest and even then I don't think I was wearing the correct size.
They're actually still kind of perky (as perky as a DDD can be) and I rarely have to wear a push-up bra. I guess it comes from rarely not wearing some type of support, which is a trick I learned from my mother. She told me when I was a teenager to always sleep in a comfortable bra (obviously not a high quality one). She said it wouldn't stop time and gravity forever, but would delay the time before they start to sag with age.

I am a 40 DD - and I can't stand my boobs. They are too big. I figure each one weighs about 8 lbs!!! :-)
If I hit my goal weight - they will definitely need some work done!

Be happy with what you have. I lost a breast to cancer a while ago. You want to get thin; who cares about the boobs? Won't being thin & healthy be enough? Why would you want triple D's on an A-frame?

I feel the same way. When I'm thinner, I think I'm about a full B, maybe a low C, but I'm a D now and I'm gonna miss 'em. =(

People like what they like, why be critical? Jessica Simpson was pretty chesty when she was thin and so was Christina Ricci before she had breast reduction. Some people like it, some don't.

Honestly, I'm jealous!!! I would LOVE to lose weight in my chest. 50 lbs and 17% body fat dropped and my chest size has budged one band size and one cup size (36H to 34GG)....My ob/gyn told me that if I haven't lost size in my chest yet, it's doubtful I will without surgery. Apparently some women have a higher percentage of glandular tissue in their breasts compared to fat. I'm one of them....
I'm just above a healthy weight for my height (bmi) but my body fat is at 25-26% (done by an exercise physiologist). I don't have that much to lose anymore...
ETA: my bra size is UK sizing. In U.S. bras (Bali, Playtex, Victoria's Secret, etc...) I'd wear a 34J, if they made them. The only thing holding me back from a reduction is that my hips and chest are proportional...hourglass and surgery scares me a little bit.

36C and I hope it stays that way but I doubt it. Oh well...usually can't have it both ways, I'll take the weightloss.

I hate to do this to you... but I really doubt you're actually a 36C. Your band size=your underbust measurement (measured tightly!) and at your height/weight you would have to have a very, very large frame to have a 36" underbust. Most likely you need to go down some band sizes and go up some cup sizes. If you need fitting help look here.
Something important to understand is that about 80-90% of your support from your bras comes from your band size so it really is important to get a bra with a tight band if you want enough lift (if you don't believe me just look at the difference here).

Omg yeah! This is a concern I have too, for when I'm eventually a smaller size. But the overall health aspect and a slimmer body is better than big boobs. But it would be nice to have it all! haha

When I was....larger I loved them. They made the rest of me look somewhat smaller, I suppose. I'd rather look proportionate as opposed to chesty, the only thing about weight loss is depending on previous breast size there's a pretty good chance of the dreaded saggy skin on the girls as soon as I lost my first 20 I had to buy new bras and had to get rid of my favorite Victoria's Secrets.
