Default My trouser problem :)

As well as weighing myself i like to try on a variety of old/tight trousers to see how im doing!

anyway my "good" problem is, as soon as i can get in them (not too tight over my hips) i wear them one day & they just start falling off!!!!!

My hips/thighs are wide, i have a flattish bum (still big but flat!) & a decent waist so although i do still have a flabby "gut" once they fit OVER my hips theres very little to hold them up! yey!!!!!! wot a problem!!!!!

Belts! I don't have all that fantastic a waist to hip ratio, but I still find that the trousers I like tend to be too big over the waist, so that now I'm losing a bit of weight, belts became urgent in order to stop them from falling off.

You might want to look into Levi's, I know you can buy jeans based on the size of your hips and waist so, in theory, you should be more apt to find a pair that fit there.

FWIW, I have the same problem because my body seems to have morphed into a pear shape the last few pounds. So I wear a lot of belts. You could also consider taking them in in the waist...
