Bare Minerals!
Wow! This stuff is awesome!! I had the lady at the make up store teach me how to use it and what color matches me and it looked so good! My friend who I was shopping with kept saying " I can't stop looking at you!" Kinda expensive i guess, im not really a makeup person but so worth it! Any ladies use this?

I'm a former Bare Minerals user. About 5 years ago, I switched to Smoky Mountain Minerals. It does not contain the bismuth oxycholoride Bare Minerals does and its about 1/3 the price

Weightforme - I love it, too! I have been using it for about five years and have accumulated more eyeshadows that I will be able to use before I die. It is a little pricey, but you need to use so little product that it lasts forever.

I hate the feel of make up on my face and Bare Minerals is light enough not to bother me or have me feeling like I have a mask on. I have been using this for years. Buy the starter kit so you'll get all the brushes. I love it!

ever since I read your post about it a year or so ago I am also a SMM user
luckymommy - I only know of buying it online - www.smokymountainminerals.com They offer free shipping, and when you sign up for emails, they have pretty regular 10%, 15% or even 20% off sales.
Weightforme - I'm glad you like the Bare Minerals, I bet you look great, and playing with makeup is so fun isn't it!

Love love love the BE! It's the only foundation I can stand to have on my face!
I too have a ton of eyeshadows - I just keep buying, but I haven't used one up in almost 10 years of using it! :-D
I really like their powder sunscreen, too - it comes in the handle of the brush you apply it with.

I'm glad to hear you're still using SMM!
Luckymommy, SMM runs great sales pretty much every week. They often have buy 1 get 1 free and shipping is always FREE! You can also order sample sizes and they sell darkeners & lighteners to add to their foundations in case you didn't get the shade you thought you needed. Love, love, love SMM!! Can't say enough good about it!

LOVE Bare Minerals!!! I've had the same mineral veil for over 5 years and I still have some left. Granted, I only use it a few times a week at most, but I used to use it everyday when I had to for school or work and it really lasts forever. And every time I wear BM, I get compliments on my skin.

What kit would you suggest as a starter kit for the Smoky Mountain? I've never really been a makeup wearer but I think this stuff looks really easy to use and light so I don't go from no makeup to AHH drag queen. lol

My skin is very sensitive, and dry mineral makeup is the only makeup I can wear.
My sister gave me a Bare Minerals makeover and I loved it, but I couldn't afford it, so I've been using Maybelline's line of dry mineral makeups (I think it's called Mineral Power).
I found the coverage and comfort very comparable to Bare Minerals at a fraction of the cost (though there are a lot fewer color choices).
I just checked out the Smoky Mountain Minerals website, and was impressed and excited with the choices and prices, especially the kit prices. The prices for individual items are comparable to the Maybelline line, but the kit prices are amazing. I think I'm going to be placing an order on payday.
Thanks JerseyGyrl

I really like bare Minerals but agree it's pretty pricey. I've been using the mineral line of make up made by Ulta. Every so often they run a BOGOF special which brings the price down to $6 a jar compared to $25 for Bare Minerals. They even carry their own version of Mineral Veil which is really good too!
