Default enjoying my new fall wardrobe

Its official, finally dropped a dress size. It took almost 20 pounds of loss to do it, but its here. Celebrated by ditching some old stuff. While visiting in Quebec, I went to Simons and bought some clothes for work. Three t-shirt type things (2 mauve and a grey) and 2 drape cardigans in the mauve and grey, a grey and black skirt, and two pairs of pants. a couple of other tops, all in size 12.
Today got a tweedy type skirt suit in a purple/black herringbone. the skirt is long and makes me look leaner. I will wear some short brown boots with it, I think. DD helped me with the suit.
I usually hate shopping for clothes, but something about going do a size and trying on stuff that makes me look good, as opposed to makes me look "not fat" was rather fun. Still have to find a new purse/bag to wear with the new wardrobe.

May as I say as a former northerner and current North Carolina resident expecting 99 degrees yet again on Friday, that I am envious to the core about wearing a "Fall" wardrobe?

fatmad - love the sound of your new purchases - how fun that they were in a smaller size!

congrats! it's so exciting getting to wear new sizes and new clothes. I'm still not sure when i'm going to take the plunge and buy some, but i'm in no rush with the 90 degree weather in california. can't wait though!
