oh! i love bad gal lash by benefit. It's sold at sephora for around 20, and it's really the best mascara i've used. It makes my lashes big and realllly black.. giving me doe eyes.

L'oreal Voluminous in Carbon Black, because it makes my lashes dark, lush & gorgeous! I also like NYX Doll Eyes & Maybelline Falsies.

Mine is Sexy Curves by Rimmel. It is in a purple bottle. I find one coat is enough to make my eyelashes look naturally long and it doesn't clump. I rarely buy the same mascara twice but this has been an exception!

I used to use Max Factor 2000 Calorie in auburn but MF products are no longer sold in the US. I've recently switched to Just For Redheads Supreme Definition in spice.
Because I'm fair complected (with freckles and strawberry blond hair) black and brown mascaras are way too dark and look extremely fake. My eyelashes are very very very light and without mascara they are basically invisible. I just need a natural-looking color to make them noticeable.

I've been using Maybelline for years the one in the pink tube for like $5. I've tried other brands but have never been impressed enough to keep spending more money.

I had a fashion model tell me once that is all she used.
I use Cover Girl Volume Exact. It seems to do a good job and doesn't smudge.
One thing I do want to say about mascara ads.....it always infuriates me when they show the models obviously wearing fake lashes and expect us to think ours will look the same with their mascara!

I use CoverGirl Lash Blast. Its in an orange tube. It makes my lashes full without clumping or flaking off. Plus it doesn't bother my eyes with contacts like some other formulas have.

Right now, DiorShow by... Dior! I like it, it doesn't smudge but it comes off easily at night.
Before DiorShow, I used Definicils by Lancome. I loved what it did for my lashes BUT it did tend to smudge under my eyes a lot.

I think I'm using Maybeline right now, before that I was using Mac. I love anything waterproof and sweat proof because I live in TX and chase students all day, so we get sweaty!
For those of you who wear contacts, I used to get eye infections when I wore mascara more than 3-4 days in a row. Now what I do is buy mascara wands buy the dozen from ebay. I use one and throw it away. Cheap, and if I get an eye irritation or pinkeye (yay for working in pre-k!), I don't have to toss the whole mascara tube, which can get pretty pricey.

Thanks for this tip, Chicky!!! I get styes in my eyes occasionally, and was always bummed to have to throw out all my eye makeup. This could be a great solution!

Yes! Another Bad Gal Lash fan!
I love it... I got a trial size at Ulta once and I just never quit using it after that.
I haven't found a waterproof mascara that I like yet, though... they all feel funny to me!

I switch around, but one thing I have learned, for me, is black or black brown doesn't work, used to love the dark auburn max factor stuff, but hard to find. For years and years I wore black or black brown, and once I tried something a little lighter, it made a world of difference, might just be me, but less harsh, Rochester, I relate!
And to AnnieDrews, I have started noticing the TV ads often have little tiny disclaimers at the bottom of the screen, for just a few seconds, saying the models are wearing false lashes etc, and it kind of seems like a cheat.

I could not figure this one out! It wasn't until I was in my 40s and joined a Sweet Adeline chorus where we were required to wear false eyelashes when on stage that I finally found out the secret.
