I wish I had a lot less versatility
I went to H&M a couple times and the first time, I was so overwhelmed that even though I fit the clothes fine, I felt panicky and left. The second time, I went with a friend but wasn't impressed with the clothes.

I'm probably most looking forward to wearing tanks and short sleeves. I haven't worn short sleeves in public in like three years!
We're getting there! Yay!

I have to walk by the Victoria Secrets store each time I go to WW, and if I didn't have a loss and I look at those ginormous pictures of those super skinny girls makes me sad. I don't even want to shop there that badly I just want to have the *option* to shop there. I never have before. Or at least not since I was 18 years old.
I also can't even imagine wearing sleeveless garments, I hate my upper arms more than any other part on my body, so I would be beside myself if I get to the point where I feel comfortable to where sleeveless clothes.

I love urban outfitters! That store is so freakin cute, when I can fit into the clothes it will be so worth the drive in to the city.
I also love Buckle, I can't wait to go into that store and buy one of their super cute outfits.

In general, the JUNIORS department As far as specific stores, probably Charlotte Russe and Forever 21. Ever since I had kids, my selection of these stores (and others like them) has been VERY limited....any bottoms (pants, shorts, skirts, etc.) have been COMPLETELY out of the question. I don't plan to buy clothes until I reach goal...I think I have enough smaller sizes from pre-pregnancy to get me by until then. My reward to myself is gonna be a major shopping spree when I get there....and I mean like an entire new wardrobe!

I have to confess, being a country gal, I have never heard of 1/2 the stores you girls have mentioned, so I have to rely on magazines and catalogues to know what is in fashion these days. I really don't like many of the new styles today and in my humble opinion think that "skinny" jeans only look really GOOD on skinny people Something about that painted on look reminds me off all the years of struggling with clothes that were too tight.
Today I wore an outfit to Church that I just figured up cost me $25. It was a combination of old, new, cheap and on sale, and I got so many compliments on it that I was getting embarrassed. It was a simple above the knees chocolate brown corduroy skirt, (local dress shop on sale $7.00) long brown boots I have had for YEARS from my old thinner days, a white poplin pintuck shirt, (JC Penney on sale 13.00) and a red cable knit double breasted sweater vest that was my Mothers who passed away 17 years ago....and pantyhose, ($5.00 new). Seriously, with all the compliments you would have thought I had spent $100's. That is the thrill *for me*. Getting great deals, at any store, that look good. The only thing I will spend "big money" on is shoes, purses, jewelry. (Things that are forgiving if I should happen to lose or gain a few pounds....which I am prone to do.)

Lori--the things I am complimented on the most are "mix it up" ensembles as you mention above. Good style and well fitted clothing does NOT have to cost much. I spend time finding them and am extremely selective but don't spend that much money.
Oh, and I totally agree about the skinny jeans. I won't wear them--and I am size 2--even sometimes a 0 depending on brand. IMO--not only must you be thin to carry them off, you must be built like a waif as well.

I thought I was the only one who thought that about skinny jeans!!
I do own 2 pair one dark jeans and one medium blue jeans but I wear them with taller boots and they are not painted on looking.
For me, the where do I want to shop questions are answered with being joyful at having the ability to shop anywhere I still get most of my clothing at target and old navy. They are cute and reasonable.

I think I will snub Hollister once I get to goal. . I tried to get an 11 at Hollister once and they busted out a ladder to get the jeans down! It took a lot of effort to get those down, I was so mortified. Well 75% of the time they never had my size anyway. Though I've lost weight, my bottom half will not go ANYWHERE. I've barely gone down a pants size. Back to the point though, I love shopping at: Forever 21, AE, PacSun, Macy's, some Hot Topic, Delia's, Urban Outfitters, ugh the whole mall.

Like bargoo, I just want to be able to go into any store and buy normal size clothing. I hope that when I get to goal, I don't feel as ignorant about buying clothes as I do now. I have worn what my family calls my "uniform" (black pants, black shell, dark colored jacket or shirt) for so many years that I just have no idea how to shop. I get in a panic in a store! My daughter tells me that when I hit goal, she wants to take me shopping. The plan is for me to just go in the dressing room and she will throw clothes in for me to try on!

I can't wait to shop in all the stores I was too afraid to walk into before.. y'know, the ones with the snooty looking sales clerks that eye you if you dare approach? Yeah.. those ones. My excitement isn't so much over WHERE I'll shop, but what I'll WEAR. I've been overweight/obese my entire short life. I think this is actually the lightest I've weighed since the beginning of middle school. My goal is to wear the clothes I've always longed to..
SKIRTS! I think I've worn a skirt a few times before, but only ankle length ones. I long to wear knee length, or slightly above skirts and look dang sassy in them. I want athletic, gorgeous legs that I can flaunt. I'm pretty happy with my upper body (despite a pudgy tummy), my biggest insecurity is my thighs/legs.

I'd love to shop at Macy's, Forever 21. I would like a tank top with tight fitting jeans. I am prepared to make this dream a reality!

Forever 21! I can wear some tops and dresses from them, but I can't wait to get into the bottoms and tanks and outfits that don't stretch.
Victoria's Secret. Their PINK line. I can fit regular Victoria's Secret, but their Pink line is another story.

I already shop where I like to for the most part (charlotte-russe, forever 21, tj maxx, marshall's, h&m, burlington coat factory, haha, notice all the discount stores?) but I dream of the day I can pick up a small. I've already gotten to the mediums last time I lost, so now my dream is the small's.. I'm a large right now. I've been getting into Urban Outfitters lately.. they have some decently priced stuff in clearance, but so far their large doesn't fit around the chest for me - it might have been the tunic I picked up, but still.. So hopefully in 10-15 I can pick up a couple tops from there!
