I think the Gerber product, if I find it probably would be cheaper per ounce).

I love the Gerber Sweet Corn - we bought it for DSS and he wouldn't eat it so it became my snack. I found mine in a multipack at Wal Mart.

My first experience with freeze dried corn was actually in those cup-o-ramen soups. Before I would add the hot water, I'd pick out the peas and corn kernels and eat them. I recognized them as freeze-dried and went looking for a source of freeze-dried veggies, and learned that they're quite popular in health-food stores and online camping/survivalist stores. The first online source I found was for a ridiculous quantity, something llike a 5 gallon bucket for $30.00 or something like that. I am prone to stocking up when I find things I like, but that was too crazy, even for me.
I eventually found individual packets at the health food store, at almost $2.00 for about three tablespoons. The 5 gallon bucket didn't seem so expensive or ridiculous, but I've been trying to find something in the middle, before I decide I have to have 5 gallons of freeze-dried sweetcorn in the house. It wouldn't be a great idea, because I can binge on any high-carb food, so it wouldn't be that much better than having 5 gallons of M&M's.

I have done it before, totally on accident. I saw a really cute bathing suit at Target (they always seem to have mixed plus size and maternity) and I tried it on. It looked great cause it didn't cling to the tummy. I bought it, got it home and then looked at the tag and noticed it was maternity. I figured no one would know, so I kept it and still wear it -- though not for long!

I bet the health food stores buy the 5 gallon bucket, then divvy out the portions 3 TBSP at a time. THEIVES I tell you! lol

cormandy I did the same exact thing! Target has great clothes though! The lady at the register even said she needed to go get herself some of the outfits I picked out, and that no one would notice lol.

I never bought them when I wasn't pregnant, but I am guilty of continuing to wear them for years after I had the baby! I was still wearing a maternity top from the first child time to time when I became pregnant with the second. As a matter of fact, even thinner now and a year post-partum, there is this one cute purple maternity top that I still wear to exercise in!
