Butchart Gardens is one of my favorite places! I went there with my parents when I was in junior high school (a LONG time ago). I'd love to go back and spend a couple days there.

I'm waiting for the A/C installers to arrive. Funny how we've had trouble all the month of June, finally cave and order a new one, and now the old one has not given us a lick of trouble since we ordered the new one. But we're going to have them save parts that are still usable so in case our other one has issues we can fix it ourselves with the parts.

Michelle I have to laugh at Ellie being "huge" - she's half the weight of what was the smallest dog I used to walk. Trixie is 72 lbs - almost 3X Ellie's size. The average weight for each dog I walked - when I had all the labs - was between 75-80 lbs. and I'd walk 4 or 5 labs at a time.

But she is growing so fast! Our other dobies were approx 75 pounds and we are guessing she will be much bigger. She is solid muscle!

Got my first "senior's" discount yesterday. I thought it was hilarious! DH and I have a plan to demand every penny off we can get when we reach 65 so at the age of 58 I'm already ahead $3!!!
