60 minute spin class with a weight interval in the middle, a tough one, as the instructor was subbing and showing off a little to a new audience
60 minute Pilates mat class, painful, as we did a lot of leg work and spin beforehand left my quads rather weak
Dec. 5: 100 minutes bikram yoga-- room wasn't hot or humid enough at all-- not sure why this happens with one particular teacher

Dec. 7: wore my heart rate monitor today and burned serious calories! 65 minute spin class in which I burned 658 calories followed by 100 plus minutes of bikram yoga in which I burned another 869 calories! I'm sick of the scale being up day after day so it darn well better be down tomorrow!
15 minute StairMaster warmup, felt incredibly strong-legged today
60 minute shoulders, biceps & triceps routine
45 minute spin class, and then my leg strength was tested and found a little wanting
December 8: 15.30 miles running (2:02:49)
30 minutes foam rolling
squat stretches
I had such an awesome pace going to start - I could almost TASTE finishing under a 8 MM. But I slowed up as I got colder - so I ended with an average 8:03 MM.

Dec. 8: scale was down 1.5 pounds which motivated me to do a double workout again. I did a bikram class at 11 am and was planning on going back at 4 pm. It sure was hard to go back. I almost didn't leave the house and then I almost left after driving there! I knew it was the same teacher for both classes and he isn't my favorite so I think that was part of it but I knew I'd be mad at myself after planning to go if I didn't. I am down another 1.5 pounds today-- if only I could keep that pace up! Scale will likely be up tomorrow though as I'm planning on body pump tonight.
Did a new weights programme today and I feel appalling. This is par for the course when I do something new, despite quite good form. Headache, neckache, can't think straight. Avoiding this kind of thing is one very good reason to keep on with different types of exercise, despite things getting in the way. But sometimes I just run out of road ...
