This is wonderful news! I've always like that name, Ethan -- a nice historic, crusty New England name, probably Biblical, as most of those names are. How consider of him in timing his arrival.
Best wishes to Glory & her husband. It's been like a domestic novel that you can read on the site -- I remember the lovely wedding pictures. And now we're reached the chapter featuring the firstborn.
Thanks all Sorry for my delayed posting! Ethan is one week old today and it's been an amazing week, filled with amazing things, but not much sleep or time for the internet.
I had an amazingly easy delivery - only 5 hours from start to finish. I'm also having a pretty great recovery. I have NOT weighed myself, I figure I'm going to give myself 6 weeks of recovery time/baby bonding time before I start working about losing the 43lbs I gained
I will be around a lot more in the spring! I appreciate all of the good wishes, my dear online family.
I have not been here for a long time, but a member as long as you dear Glory. I came back, I mostly read here, but followed you along for a long time. Imagine my joy in clicking on your name and seeing this exciting news. My best to you and your family, how great to see how great life is for you.
