The dirt factor deters me with white jeans. I seem to get something on them when putting them on, even before I DO anything. Khaki coloured stuff seems to work better for me.

I am again mostly shopping my closet, but there's a lot of stuff in there I haven't worn. I have 3 pairs of low heel sandals that I've completely forgotten about. And I found 2 blouses that I bought in NYC in 2008 that I've worn once or twice. I tend to grab the same stuff over and over again on the weekends - no thinking that way.

I must start making more of an effort to dress well on the weekends, even if it's just to go grocery shopping (that was DH's and my "date" Saturday night).

Just got myself this new pair of coach shades http://img.9goods.org/201103/source_...s-in-30003.jpg
Now I want a new coach purse. Love me some coach anything!!!!
Shopping is such a fun hobby in maintenance, I love to sport new trendy fashions and I work hard, so it's ok for me to shop hard too!

Agreed Wendalyn! White jeans, white blouses, white capris, white shorts--all spring & summer musts! The beauty of white is that you MAY bleach them remove stains, etc. I'm now on the hunt for a new white (or cream) purse for the warmer season. Must be large (All these giant things make me look small...) with a North-South orientation, preferably with one strap and awesome bling.

!
No, I have one grandson and this will be a grandaughter, the grandson is a little annoyed that he may have to share.
With my white jeans I love a bright top, I have a cobalt blue tank top that looks good as well as red and purple, I love purple.I did see some white jeans in a store this week but they were regular length and I need petite length. I try to avid having things altered if at all possible.

Hey Meg Ryan Hope you find the biggie purse you are a hunting for!

Bargoo- That'll be exciting to have a granddaughter this time around.. Yup I agree to make the white pop, a nice splash of any color works.
I still love the classic black/white duo too.

Ooo Wendalyn, I love those sunglasses. I'm fond of Coach myself - I hit up the outlets looking for new things.

I got several new skirts in the fall, and a lot of them were actually summer clearance - again at the outlets. I got a white mini skirt - haven't worn a miniskirt in ages. And haven't worn a white item, other than a top, in ages. I'm nervous! I used to love white jeans... Maybe I need to shop for a pair of those. Though looking at the coffee and yogurt spots on my khakis I'm wearing today maybe not... These were here by 10:00 am... LOL

Hehe - I have a Tide stain pen in my desk drawer, and need to check out the bleach before spring. I've never actually used it, it intimidates me a little. But I'll need it with white!

Did a little shopping yesterday, didn't buy much, just two tank tops. One is yellow the other is lavender, lighter colors than I usually wear but they will be a nice change. I only buy pants in basic colors, blue jeans , of course , other than that my pants/capris/shorts are alway white, tan, navy or black. No matter what top I buy it will match at least one of my pants. I do have one pair of capris that are an orangeish-reddish color. I bought those when I first hit goal because I never would have put that color on my 200 plus butt.

Cute jeans! I just saw some white pants or jeans in a store window and it got me thinking. I'm going to the outlets in about 3 weeks during a bachelorette party weekend and I haven't bought clothes in so long, I think I'm ready for some shopping.

What about furniture? I have lived for 3 years without a coffee table, and a TV stand that I got from dumpster diving (did I just admit that?). World Market is having their 25% off friends & family sale. I got:

Plus some nightstands for my guest room:

You can see I like a slight Asian influence.
