Default Jeans NSV

This is probably a guy only thing, but some jeans actually have the size out on the outside of the pants (near the right back pocket). They never put the size on the pockets for the pants that are larger. In particular, Levi's and Lee jeans both put the size on the pocket as well as some of the more expensive jean manufacturers.

I specifically went shopping yesterday to buy jeans that had the size on the pocket. I think of it as a NSV and it is perhaps a bit of an ego boost thing for me. I'd like people to see that I'm wearing a size 30 .

Congrats! That's a great NSV. I have always felt SO bad that men's jeans have the size on the outside of them. I would never wear jeans if that were the case for women!

Thumbs up

Gee, this brought back 30 years of memories. In my 20's, ALL my Levi jeans had the size on the outside. Somehow, it didn't bother me . . . well, not too much.

This is a great NSV, Matt! Great going!

Great job Matt!!! That is an awesome NSV.

(I had no idea that men's jeans had the sizes on the back pocket...now I'm going to have to walk around looking, and everyone will think I'm looking there for another reason!)

NICE! 30 is really trim. I'm absolutely never attracted to heavyset/"husky" men, and the first guy I ever LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED (in high school) and thought was JUST PERFECT wore 32s

32 inch sounds really small to me nowadays... I might have worn that in junior high?

I can remember using 32 swim trunks in college. 20 years, and 70 pounds ago!

to (30)!

I used to wear boys jeans in junior high sometimes - hand me downs from a slightly older uncle. It was always humiliating to a young girl to have her waist size tattooed on her fanny...

So Matt, my ex-husband used to wear 32" waist, and often got 'hey man, eat a sandwich' comments. And, had no a@@ to speak of. So you've got it all going on!
