They screwed up my plan at the restaurant last night by ordering two of every appetizer on the menu for everyone to share. Sigh. I only had a couple bites of each though. Then I got suckered into dessert, but at least I only ate half of it. Weight is up, of course. It was tasty though!
Friday:
B - oatmeal squares, blueberries, skim milk
L - @work again, panera - big plate of asian chicken salad (avoided the fried wonton strips as much as possible) w/dressing, piece of baguette
S - apple, hershey's almond nugget
D - leftovers, probably a baked potato and some cabbage with beets, I might finally cook that broccoli
E - none planned, maybe walk with the dog?

Yesterday came in fine on calories - right at my maintenance level, most of the water from earlier in the week is back off... Now I have to eat low sodium today and tomorrow to keep from being puffy for the reunion tomorrow night...
Today:
E: strength training after dinner, maybe some stationary bike chaser if I have enough time - will depend a lot on if DSS has a good day at daycare or not...
B: smoothie, coffee
S: string cheese, strawberries, blueberries
L: grilled chicken salad
S: apple w/ light swiss laughing cow, lf vanilla yogurt w/ berries & pineapple
D: slice cheese pizza, nectarine
S: kashi crunchy bar

Today: Had to go get a cortisone shot. May be taking the day off exercise as it made me feel sort of funny and face-flushy. Gross. If so, I'll do Sat and Sun.
B - Good Grains bagel from Noah's with 1 tbsp light cream cheese, turkey, cucumber, pickle
S - Strawberry smoothie w/ greek yogurt, almond milk
L - Leftover FiberGourmet penne with chicken, roasted veggies, homemade tomato sauce
S - Popcorn
D - Chicken and broccoli stirfry over brown jasmine rice
S - NSA Ice Cream, Strawberries
E - TBD

Hope the funny feelings go soon, Amanda.
Yesterday was POP....I had to take it moment by moment for part of it, but there you go. Ain't it funny how I avoid the scale and this thread when I have a string of off-plan days?
Today:
toast, pnb, strawberries, protein shake
peach, protein shake (I was thirsty, not so hungry, but wanted the protein)
turkey sandwich with tomatoes, onion, LC cheese
snack and dinner tbd
exercise 3 mile run---done!

Midwife - I tend to put this thread off to the very last thing when I've had an off plan day as well..
Amanda - hope you feel better soon! I had a cortisone shot only once and it made me a little wiggy too.
Add a serving of Indulgence Trail Mix to today - I'm trending low on the calories today, needed some good fats, and the chips in it help with the chocolate craving I've been fighting off.

I've got to try almond milk... I saw it in two different smoothie posts today... Do you guys do sweetened or unsweetened? I remember Meg talking about the difference between the two, but can't remember - can you tell a difference?

Unsweetened Vanilla, personally. I just like that its only 40 calories a cup, less than half as skim milk, and adds a sort of vague nutty creaminess and a vague vanilla flavor. It's good (I like the texture way better than skim, regardless of the calorie benefits).
I changed into my gym clothes in a fit of optimism. The plan is to try to do 30 min of cardio, then more after another meeting if I'm still OK. I'm also due for a LB/ab workout, but we'll see on that.

Unsweetened original here, but I only use it in shakes, haven't tried it on cereal etc. My DH uses a fair amount of milk so we always have it. Might try the almond though, I bet it'd be good on oatmeal.
I'm just back from the grocery store. My Precision Nutrition program had us go to the store and get a few things that we may not have used before (then we have to photograph them, so they know we did it. ) Most of the stuff wasn't new to me, but I did get some almond butter and I'm looking forward to trying that. My store here in the boonies didn't have some of the stuff like hemp seeds (what would I do with those?), amaranth (though I've gotten it before in Anchorage) and canned lentils (canned lentils? why? I've never seen it - I'll photograph the dry ones I already have).

Did the LB work. Apparently, there's such a thing as a "cortisone flare"...where the cortisone shot makes the pain spike before it goes away. I was unaware. Am aware now.
