No Excuses! Maintainer's Food and Exercise Accountability, 8/3 - 8/9
Hi all!
Today was mostly OP. I had to add a few desperation snacks (I seriously kicked my own butt with my cardio today, and was shaky/dizzy/nauseous afterward. Had some crackers, then some fruit, then some popcorn. But calories still came in OK). But the cardio...oh, it was ridiculously hard, but good...10 min miles WITH sprint intervals.
Planning for tomorrow:
B - French toast (eggbeaters, light bread), peach
S - Frozen grapes
L - Turkey chili with beans
S - Jello pudding cup
S - Popcorn
D - Roasted pork tenderloin, baked yukon gold potato, swiss chard with garlic and balsamic
S - NSA Ice Cream, blackberries
E - 60 min cardio, first day of shoulder PT

I don't know that I want to list Saturday and Sunday... I willingly walked into splurges, felt no guilt about them, then had an emotionally weird day yesterday, didn't sleep much last night, thus didn't exercise this morning so am flooded with all the guilt I avoided over the weekend...
Saturday -
E: 4.5 miles at the park before the rain started
B: smoothie, 1 hershey's milk chocolate nugget, coffee w/ ff creamer
S: lowfat blueberry muffin (MIL came over for a visit so I made muffins, which I recognize now that I have no willpower against)
L: 1.5 slices of pizza - no red sauce, grilled chicken, sliced tomato, provolone cheese, fresh basil
S: 2 more of those stupid muffins (I made 12 where the nutritional info was for making 11, so they weren't as bad as they could have been, right?)
D: ground chicken breast tacos, rice
S: Ben & Jerry's Phish Food... the whole carton... asked DH to pick up the light version, but they were out of it so her got the regular and I ate the whole carton anyway... I have no willpower when it comes to the small 4 serving cartons - an entire gallon I can scoop a serving out, but the smaller ones kill me...
Sunday:
E: off day
B: kashi go lean w/ skim & assorted berries
S: 2.75 cups of movie theater popcorn, arctic blast
L: shrimp tacos, rice, beans
S: cocoa
D: trader joe's carnitas with broccoli, rice, diced tomato
S: stoneyfield farms probiotic yogurt with assorted berries, 1 chocolate nugget
Today:
E: slept through it... planning on dumbbell circuit and then floor cleaning cardio when I get home
B: kashi go lean w/ skim & assorted berries, berry muffin, coffee w/ ff creamer
S: apple w/ lite laughing cow
L: grilled chicken salad
S: string cheese, three leftover chicken dumplings
D: turkey sausage over rice, will probably dice up pepper and onion and put in the mix

Amanda, you are turining into quite the speedster!!!
Yeah, no comment on the weekend. Or even last week. The calories during the week weren't bad cause I had a very limited appetite, but I made up for it over the weekend. Very poor planning followed by very poor decisions.
Today:
3 eggs, 2 pieces toast, LC cheese
2 corn tortillas with red chile, turkey, avocado.
fruit and cc
3 oz steak, mushrooms, zucchini
1 hr weights
protein shake

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who overindulges! Shannon - thanks for your post in last week's thread. You're right, I just have to move on and be accountable for this week.
I just started up my classes again (med school) so my schedule is more controlled, which is good, but my body will have to get used to it. So, for today -
B: Greek yogurt with 1/2 banana and 1/2 cup Kashi go lean
S: 1/2 odwalla bar
L: Grilled chicken salad, pear
S: 1/2 odwalla bar
E: Run (just about to head out, hoping for 4-5 miles)
S: Egg white, babybel cheese, fruit
D: Ground turkey in salad or in a bowl of veggie soup, fruit

Good morning! Yesterday came in fine on calories, dinner switched from sandwiches to frozen cheese pizza, evening snack changed a little, but still stayed in line.
Today:
E: strength training and short cardio when I get home - serious allergy head this morning and didn't think I could keep from hitting myself in the head with a dumbbell if I tried to exercise all congested and off balance. I did get up and give it a try though!
B: smoothie, coffee
S: string cheese
L: grilled chicken salad
S: seminar this afternoon, so depends - packed a granola bar and some almonds, hopefully they won't have pastry... I feel weak today.
D: grilled chicken with veggies (bell pepper, onion, jalapeno, tomato), rice, broccoli, corn tortillas
S: mini ice cream sandwich
