Today is all about YOU and we hope it's a wonderful day!
I read your poignant post yesterday about your feelings and experiences as an obese teenager ( Enjoying AVERAGE things more now because we were once obese or overweight?) It really touched my heart and made me happy that you've changed your life so dramatically for the better, especially while you're young and have so many years left to enjoy. Sure, we all struggle with a few unwanted pounds but regardless of whether you're quite where you want to end up, you've done a 180 from where you started. What a huge gift you've given to yourself and so appropriate that today is your birthday!
May there be many, many more birthdays to celebrate your new life!

Aww, thanks! I'm working as usual on a weekday but my coworkers made me an ice cream pie and gave me a gift certificate to my favorite dive shop. I've been saving/trying to find a deal on a dive computer for two years now! I thoroughly enjoyed my piece of pie.
A group of friends is going to "the big city" Friday to see the new Harry Potter movie and go out to dinner, and BF will take me out to dinner Saturday night (he's also working all week, and since he has to get up at 5:30 AM for a charter I'd rather go out on a night he doesn't have to worry about getting up early). And my family is far away but they've called and mailed cards, etc. It's a good birthday!
