Maintainers Chat: Week Of July 13 - 19

While being sick has prevented me from exercising, I feel like I'll be able to start again next week. My cough is rarely a problem now--I'm just hoping the lung burning that I experienced last week won't pop up while doing cardio.

Shannon~oh, berries! I've bought 2 bags of cherries, and you're right--you can't stop eating them! Thankfully they're only ripe for a short period each summer!

I love my little house. Everything works! My scale, my kitchen, microwave, shower. The internet too!

I am going to pick up a big bag of cherries today at the fruit market. They are my favorite fruit by far! I suspect I'd eat a whole lot less cookies and candy if luscious ripe beautiful red cherries were around all the time!

Dagmar - I've eaten no candy or cookies since I bought my fruit at the store three days ago, but I have eaten a lot of the cherries I bought. Glad you are back home!

Allison - glad the cough is starting to go away. The lung burning doesn't sound good, hope it doesn't come back...

I'm finally back to what I think is my new normal weight. It is a little over where I wanted, but seems to be where I'm comfortable. Only took me three weeks to recover from the cake-fest that was our week after Father's Day weekend party...

I'm heading to a new market I found last week--they sell local fruits and veggies! I picked up a couple nectarines last week that were to die for. I hope to find similar this week (the pickings are rather sparse, but the quality and price are good).

My weight continues on it's downward spiral!!! Yeah!!! And my cough is about 95% gone so I'll be back to the treadmill on Monday, although I think I'm going to go back to my old schedule of 3x per week rather than 5x.
