Default No Excuses! Maintainer's food and exercise accountability 7/6-7/12

I guess I'll start of this week's thread. I ate way too much at parties Saturday & Sunday, so I won't even bother posting. Getting myself right back on the wagon today.

Monday:
B - 1/2 cup Fiber one cereal + 3/4 cup Honey Nut cheerios, 1 cup skim milk, coffee w/ 1 Tbsp. h&h
S - medium apple
L - Grilled Salmon w/ tuscany beans & heirloom tomatoes
S - lf yogurt, cherries, raw almonds
gym - cardio, chest?
D - some kind of scallop & shrimp saute with pasta (not cream sauce, though), maybe some spinach wilted in or on the side

I actually posted in last weeks thread about my terrible weekend, though I don't know if I posted on Saturday before or after Sonic for dinner and a Frosty for dessert. Enough said about that.

Today:
E: would like to do some strength training, will likely end up with cardio after the AC guy leaves
B: think thin bar, kashi go lean, coffee
L: white turkey burger or grilled chicken salad, or maybe a smoothie
S: yogurt
D: ground white turkey over rice, broccoli
S: TJ chili spiced mango or apple with lowfat yogurt & candied walnuts

I can't even remember what I ate on which days this weekend. I will admit that one night my dinner was a grilled cheese sandwich, a hot dog, and a beer. At least it was patriotic.

Monday:
B - raisin bran, strawberries, skim milk
S - banana
L - potato salad (lots of veggies and a vinaigrette, no mayo)
S - apple, peach
D - salad w/lf dressing, all-beef hot dog on ww bun with ketchup, pita bread w/hummus, watermelon
E - morning short dog walk, evening 2.1 mile run

1.5m walk -- blew it with morning run
at least 20min strength vid

biggest goal of the day-- no couch after get kids to bed!!! avoid kitchen entirely after dinner!!!

Note to self:
Sitting at kitchen counter while watching TV and eating is the equivalent of couch TV eating.

Ate all mentioned plus edy's fruit bar which I now now has sugar as the third ingredient, after water and strawberries. Also ate yogurt and freaking nutella (now in garbage) and peanut butter.

I am thinking total calories 2400ish.

Will post tomorrow after very early am run.

Yay on the run, KittyCat. Today? Is a new day.

For me too, actually, as I fell headfirst into a vat of frozen yogurt yesterday, replacing my lovely, low calorie fruit bar. I'd blame hormones, but I can't even blame my own (Sarah had a craving, so we went). I did put some fruit on top...but it was way more calories than I needed. I also had a minor run in with a tbsp of PB. Not my best day! I prob ended up at 1600-1700.

Planning for today:
B - Egg whites, veggies, toasted crumpet with 1 tsp blackberry jam
S - Cantaloupe
L - Leftovers - Grilled chicken, corn on the cob, salad
S - Popcorn
S - Greek yogurt w/ berries
D - Grilled chicken, polenta, broccoli
S - NSA Ice Cream, Berries

E - 60 min cardio, 60 min hardcore strength training w/ intervals.

yesterday came in at about 1700, with 1080 burned in exercise, according to my HRM. I had a lot of frustration to work out after the HVAC tech left...

Today:
E: done
B: smoothie, coffee
L: turkey broccoli pita
S: string cheese, yogurt
D: either pb&j with yogurt or grilled chicken salad takeout from somewhere
S: probably more yogurt

Hi all! I'm back from the land of non-stop food (a cruise ship) and am happy to report that I left 3 lbs behind! (I also picked up a crummy summer cold, but we'll ignore that)

Today was OP

B - half a 3-egg omelet with onions, mushrooms, spinach; half banana
S - cottage cheese, blueberries
L - large salad with fake crab, tomatos, avocado
S - Luna bar
D - grilled chicken, grilled sweet potato slices, pea salad on bed of spinach
S - sliced strawberries with spoonful of vanilla yogurt

WaterRat...you're officially my maintenance hero for losing weight on a cruise. I really wasn't sure it was possible. I came back with several pounds from mine! Welcome back!
