How do you make a turkey and broccoli sandwich? Sounds interesting!

I stuck to my plan all day except had a small glass of wine and a few bites of DH's potato salad at dinner. And only did 45 minutes of cardio instead of 60. But I still lost a pound of water overnight, so am counting it as successful.

The plan for today:

M1 pre gym: 1/2 protein shake
M2 post gym: Kashi GoLean, unsweetened almond milk, blueberries
M3: Egg, egg whites, oatmeal
M4: 0% Greek yogurt, strawberries
M5: Chicken breast, steamed veggies
Optional M6: Protein, fruit

Exercise: 30 min elliptical, 30 min bike. Bi's and tri's, abs.

Meg - yesterday was my first attempt at a turkey and broccoli sandwich, actually, and it worked pretty well. I've been getting a turkey, broccoli & provolone pita at a local deli that gave me the idea... wasn't sure if it would work without the pita to hold it all together... I toasted double fiber wheat bread, spread a lite french onion laughing cow on both sides, took the smallest broccoli florets I could find in the bag and spread them out in rows on one side of the bread, had to cut a few to fit. The laughing cow held them in place pretty well. Put a large tomato slice on top of the broccoli, sliced turkey on the other side with a little salsa. Turned out yummy! I imagine it would be just as good without the tomato and the salsa, too.

Today:
E: does spending an hour cleaning my bathroom count? No, really, today is an off day.
B: kashi go lean crunch (honey almond flax) w/ lowfat vanilla yogurt, blueberries & banana, the other half of the banana on the side, coffee coming soon!
L: turkey & broccoli sandwich, 1/2 serving reduced fat cheezits, yogurt
S: more kashi go lean crunch (the regular one this time) with yougurt & fresh raspberries that DH brought home from the store, then a slice of the new ham & turkey he bought from the deli because I just had to try it!
D: vindaloo chicken over wild rice
S: skinny cow

Ah, I lost count of how many OP days I've strunk together, but yesterday was either 4 or 5.

B - protein pancakes, 1/2 peach and spoonful of vanilla yogurt (chopped up over the pancake),
S - fruit (bananas, grapes, cantalope, apple slices) after church, 1 very small brownie w/nuts
L - hb egg, tomato
S - cottage cheese, strawberries
D - left over salmon, spaghetti squash, broccoli

Ex: a rest day - yay!

Checking in for today.

Brunch - Giant salad - grilled flank steak, mixed greens, carrots, cucumber, green beans, edamame, broccoli, and grilled bell pepper, with LF honey mustard dressing and a few croutons. Small piece of sourdough on side.
S - SF Slurpee (a small one...100 cals or so)
D - Roasted chicken quarter, skinless (ate my thigh/leg quarter tonight because I was at a lower cal level today than I'll be tomorrow, when I'll eat the white meat), baked sweet potato fries with 1 tbsp ketchup, roasted asparagus
S - Blackberry Peach Crisp, scoop of SF vanilla ice cream.
