That's the problem! In fact, I just got in a little while ago from shopping. There was an ENORMOUS container of the best looking strawberries I've ever seen. Really just perfection. For $4.99. I almost took them. But I knew if I did, I'd wind up eating waaaay too many of them. So after taking them in and out of my cart a good 5 or 6 times, I decided to leave them there.

I usually buy them in 1 pound containers, and even if I did eat them all at once I can easily fit that few calories into my day. Usually by the time I approach the 1/2 pound amount I am feeling satisfied with them.

But I understand the concept of passing up certain foods due to desire to overeat them!

Kiwis can be a pain to prep-- I like the firm but not hard or mushy ones. I will slice them in the narrow middle so that the inner circle is still a circle and spoon it out right from the skin. kiwi for the picky lazy

I find durian is a great fruit as well. Either you like it and it's pretty filling, or you don't like it and the sheer smell of it will make you wish there's no food at all in a 50-feet radius.

More seriously, kiwis are great. I love my tangerines in winter, but summer fruits are definitely several notches higher.
