Default Anyone else read 'Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle'?

I got this as an e-book awhile back and it's an amazing resource. It's written by Tom Venuto, a 'natural' body builder. In any case, if you're looking for some motivation with fitness etc., this is an awesome read. Of all the 'diet' books I've read I thought his was the best on explaining how to lose fat. The chapters on motivation are really great too. I hear he has a new book that's a traditional print book but I haven't bought it.

Anyway, I just started re-reading BFFM and thought much of what I'm reading there matches with the attitudes and efforts I've seen from those on this board. Just thought I'd throw it out there as a recommendation in case anyone was looking for a way to shore up their efforts to maintain.

I second your recommendation.

I'm currently reading his new book, The Body Fat Solution, which is available from Amazon and other retailers. It's probably the best weight loss book I've read and I haven't even gotten to the diet and exercise parts yet. Just like in BFFM, you find yourself nodding your head over and over again. I'll try to post a complete review once I'm finished.

Has anyone else read either book?

I have it and have skimmed through it time and again - lingering over the section on setting goals - which really helped me throughout my weight loss.

I admit, I have troubles reading books on the monitor (headaches bc of monitor, I enjoy long reading sessions) and haven't printed it yet. I keep meaning to, everything I've looked at is wonderful.

I love that book and I also highly recommend it. I did weight watchers, but I think that BFFM is the best resource that you can buy as far as learning how to lose weight properly. I lost 40 lbs doing it but gained it back because I am to perfectionistic and it took to much plan for the diet aspect of it for me. I love it though and recommend it often to friend on the journey
