LOL about the cat, my dog comes over and sticks his nose in my face if I lay down on the floor for crunches/stretches. Then he sheds all over me and I get hairs in my eyes, nose, and mouth!

about the animals. Our kitten (15 months) likes you to pick her up and let her smell your breath! She gets so close I sometimes think I'm going to get kissed..... And I once had a cat whose favorite sleeping position was next to my head on the pillow with his nose stuck into my ear. Weird.

Long stressful days this week. Eating has been poor. Must make more of an effort next week. Sigh. Plus I have to go to work in the morning so the phone/internet people can do an upgrade.

Just for TMI sake, when I still had my dog, he did the same, but not in my eyes, I was not alone, and I was doing, er, another kind of sport than crunches.

Default My up and down week

Seems like the weeks pass so quickly! Life is still quite busy. I've been, mostly, on plan. I must admit I've been having problems with candy lately. I don't know what it is. I just crave chocolate! I'm not giving in easily. I have given in,though. Usually to the tune of six mini tootsie rolls. I still count them and still write them in.
On the aggravating, but expected, side, the scale for the past week has been going up and up and up. I wasn't eating off plan that much! It had it's out of control phase again (it's that damn end of the month thing again for me!) Anyway, this morning, after having 1/2 a choc chip cookie last night, the scale FINALLY took a 3 lb drop. Why it went up, I don't know. Why it went down, I don't understand. I just keep telling myself that I am staying on plan (for the most part), and I have to keep telling myself to stick with it. I am still about 4-5 lbs higher than I'd like to be, but my body seems to prefer the 180-183 zone better than the 176-178 zone I like to see better on the scale. On a good note, I am still 10 lbs below my initial maintenance goal, so there are still good things going on.
Had a great burger today that I thought I'd share in case anyone hasn't tried this. Take two smaller burgers, put half a piece of cheese between them and crimp them together. Then, grill. It was awesome! Something we will definitely try again.
As for working out, I've gotten myself to do my 45 minutes of cardio twice this week, so I am moving forward on exercise. Other than that, I do exercises each day but lately I've been going to exercise classes. Usually 1-2 hours/day 5 days a week.
Tomorrow's a big day!!!!!!!!!!! Watch for my entry then, and celebrate with me!
On a sad ending note, I learned on Friday that my weight loss clinic is closing on November 21. I hate the idea of not having somewhere to go that will support my weight loss efforts, but I'll use this site more and more to push me, so if you think I need a swift kick, kick away. I need someone else to check my reality and let me know if I'm slipping.
Have a good Sunday!

Kery My pooch had to be locked in the living room on her one attempt to join in with the "exercise" program with a new man. Never saw the poor fella again.
