Good morning everyone! Today is Yom Kippur, and while I'm not observant enough to take off work and go to services, I am observant enough to fast today. I'm just hoping I won't collapse from lack of food. In the past I've been fine, but more recently I've had some hypoglycemic episodes where I get shaky and dizzy if I haven't eaten.
Good news: today's weigh-in? 138.8! Hopefully it stays there for tomorrow's "official" weigh-in.
Thursday's plan:
B/L/S - none
D - baked salmon, rice, frozen veg mix
Exercise - 2 mi bike ride, core strength

LOL, somehow I read that at first as just a blue cupcake craving, and thought, hmmm, how strange .

Okay - trauma this morning while I was getting ready for work. I had 2 more pre-made salads left and they got pushed to the back of the frig and FROZE solid! Frozen lettuce is kinda gross! I guess I'm buying lunch today. Hate the waste of 2 perfectly good salads and the cost of buying lunch from the spendy cafeteria downstairs.

Glory, I just read your weight loss story and I have to say it's so inspirational! A prime example of a diet vs. a lifestyle change. You should be so proud of you--I am!

Thanks Bigsexy It has been quite the adventure! It's definitely been a profound lifestyle change. If you had told me 5 years ago that I would buy a big carton of fat free greek yogurt, portion it into servings, add a spoon of honey and then my own chopped fruit instead of just grabbing a venti latte and huge muffin on the go - I would have said you were crazy.
I make time for important things now!!

Glory~sorry about your salad! I hate when that happens!
My plan went out the door yesterday. Testament as to how I know I won't be able to do this "diet" long term. I need to go back to my usual (whole foods, super foods, low cal, low fat, and things in moderation). I CRAVED pasta and ended up with a not-so-healthy mac and cheese topped with chili (think blue box and canned chili). It made my DS very happy, though. And I can't lie--it was really good. Back at it today, though.
B~scrambled egg whites, lf cheese, salsa
S~nuts
L~South Beach frozen entree (chicken Caprese), tangelo
S~Activia yogurt
D~steamed vegetables and either chicken or pork chop

We are all so proud of Glory. I'm proud of everyone here!
Yesterday's plan altered slightly. I finished at 1700 cals, mostly healthy, but only did 20 min. elliptical at the gym b/c I forgot my socks and my flip flops just weren't cutting it.
Friday's plan:
B - ww mini bagel, 1 T. lt cream cheese, 1 oz. lox, 1 c. sk milk, coffee w/ 1 T h&h
S - sm banana
L - 1/2 Oat Bran Pita pocket, egg salad - 2 hard boiled eggs & 1/2 T. light mayo, 1 c. carrots & 1 c. celery
S - 6 oz. ff yogurt, med. pear, 1/2 oz. raw almonds
gym - upper bodystrength training workout, running?
D - Spinach & Cranberry stuffed chicken breast, steamed green beans
Tonight's challenge: I'm working for friends who own a catering company, helping to serve dessert and clean up to make some extra $. When I've done this before the people have always offered dessert, etc., to me as well, so if they do this, the goal is to avoid it at all costs. I'll eat a good dinner before I go so I'm not hungry.
