Talking week 1 down!

Hello!

Even though I was a pound away from my goal, I decided a week ago to start maintaining at 126 lbs. I haven't weighed myself for a week until this morning and the scale still read 126! I have made it through my first week of maintenance! No logging calories, no menu in advance, and during my TOM, I still managed to maintain ( I might even be carrying a little water weight). It made me realize how much self control I really have. When I go to munch on something, I bypass the chips and reach straight for sliced mushrooms and baby carrots. My BF and I were talking the other day about how much we even like "diet" versions of food better than the real thing. My BF is in good shape (he has a gooood metabolism!) and could probably get away with eating anything, but he even prefers that we keep Weight Watchers ice cream bars and sugar free puddings for his night treat instead of anything else.

I know its not always going to seem this easy, but I feel like I can become less obsessed with food and can focus on things like running faster & longer, trying new activities to keep in shape, and finally focus on school work!

Thanks for reading. Even though a maintainer, I'm always on here everyday looking for new motivation and advice throughout the threads!

Have a good day ladies!

Congratulations on your loss, your first week, and your attitude!

If you stop thinking of "diet food" and think about healthier food, it tastes even better
