I munched again yesterday. :sigh: Two slices of bread and an ear of corn, plus four mini hershey bars. At least I made a healthy dinner.

Today:
B - oatmeal squares, milk, blueberries
S - banana
L - leftover pasta stuff
S - apple, peach, yogurt
D - pasta with fresh herbs
Exercise - 20 min walk with dog

Today came in POP. A couple of weak moments where I thought I was going to let myself go 100 calories over, but I overcame them.

Tomorrow we are having dinner out with friends. I know chips and salsa will be involved but I'm hoping that I can find something that won't be too bad for dinner. The restaurant is supposed to use lots of fresh ingredients. I'm less worried about dinner itself than I am about staying on plan for the rest of the day and after dinner, since these meals out can throw off the whole day for me.

Here's how today worked out:
B: FF Greek yogurt with High Fiber Cereal and wild woman blueberries
S: Decaf coffee with FF half and half and SF Torani, donut peach
L: Lemony Scallops and Cucumbers, pickles, pickled cauliflower, marinated mushrooms, two multigrain tortilla chips
S: multigrain hot cereal with FF cream cheese, cinnamon, and SF Torani
S: FF cottage cheese mixed with FF plain Greek yogurt, splenda, cinnamon, and blueberries
S: Fiber One Muffin with FF cream cheese
D: Chipotle Chicken Taco Salad
S: Almond Apricot Piskota with Lemon-Cream Cheese Sauce, decaf tea with FF half and half and SF Torani

It all came in at about 1400 calories.

Tuesdays are a double-interval day so lots of exercise: 5 min warm-up and 10 min intervals on stepmill, 20 min intervals on TM, 15 min abs, 1 hour yoga class

So far, so good. I've worked out 90 minutes this week and stayed under 1600 calories each day. Gotta keep it up! And keep my eye off that beer in the fridge....

WEDNESDAY - FOOD: I wouldn't say it was "P"OP, so I'm gonna call it just OP. I did have a few extra BLT's. And a couple of those B's were rice and not even a 1/2 slice of london broil. But I always leave a bit of leeway, so, like I said, I'm gonna call it on plan. But no smilie face. Only "P" OP is worthy of that.
EXERCISE: Quite good.

Thursday -

Friday -
Saturday- Going away for the weekend, won't be pretty, I can feel it in my bones.
Sunday -

Have a wonderful day everyone.

Okay, I officially suck. They provided lunch at work today during a lunchtime meeting, and while I did well with the main dishes, I ate way too much dessert. They didn't really have healthy options for main dishes either -- it was Qdoba, and there were tortillas, chips, taco shells, meat, a little tub of lettuce, and salsa. I took one tortilla, some chicken, a pile of lettuce, a bunch of salsa, and a little guacamole. I even took a few strawberries from the desserts section. But then, disaster struck, and I ate four bite-sized cream puffs, three bite-sized eclairs, and two big chocolate chip cookies. Why do I do that? My "no sweets on weekdays" rule has gone out the window.

:sigh: I blame not getting enough exercise. I always eat better if I work out more. I'm thinking my knees might be ready to try jogging again, at least for short stretches. It would do me a lot of good to get some good exercise.

THURSDAY- FOOD: Another POP day. I had some fabulous blackberries. EXERCISE: - Very Good.

Friday - I am leaving early this afternoon to go to a nice hotel with an enormous pool, with a bunch of friends. Will be back some time Sunday night. I bought LOTS of grapes, cherries, nectarines and blueberries for snacking on. My friends have already mapped out the places they want to "hit" for all of our meals. I am in BIG trouble.
Saturday-
Sunday -

Have a wonderful weekend everyone.

I'm still here, and my weight is actually going DOWN a bit...it actually blows my mind that I HAVE a level of anxiety/sadness that puts me into that "forget to eat" category, but apparently I do.

Exercise is still on track, though today is a rest day. I'm taking a little break and not posting as much because there's way too much for me to handle going on and I have to focus all of my energy on just muddling through at this point. But the week has been mostly good though fairly low on the calorie scale, and the plan is for it to stay that way through the craziness of the next week or so.

We're down in Southern CA for the service (tomorrow), so I'll be doing more hill-walking/running in the morning. I brought my resistance bands, too, so I'll maybe throw them in my pocket and interval train.

Anyway, no excuses here as yet.

Thank you all for the hugs and support. It's just a rough patch at the moment.

Amanda, here's a for you - sounds like you could use it.

I've not been posting much this week. I'm in the I'm too stressed to eat mode - not that I couldn't use some lower calorie days. I've been involved with a termination of an employee process for awhile now (about 6 weeks) and it all came together this week. It's the part I hate hate hate about being a manager. Not a bad person, just one who doesn't always follow directions/policies, and has a real pattern of in general messing up. Sigh. Of course, working for a local government means that the process is convoluted and long. I'm way too familiar with our attorney. But, the worst part - telling her - is done. I've collected her keys, gone with her to clear personal stuff from her office, then supervised the packing up of all her paperwork, which a temporary person will sort (record keeping was part of the problem) and then I'll try to find someone else. Meanwhile, the whole termination process will go on for another 3-4 weeks if she appeal. We're offering her generous severance if she'll resign. But I'm betting she won't - not in her personality. Sigh.

Anyway, food has been mixed, exercise not very good. I'm going to get a good night's sleep and plan to be back on track tomorrow. Hasn't helped that it's been in the 50's and raining here most of the week....
