Count me in for tight workout gear. I bought my first pair of tight long pants recently. I'm still a little skeptical of them since it's nearly impossible not to have my panty line show, but everyone else at the gym has their panty lines showing too so it's not so bad.

I also never thought I'd wear:
* size six
* skirts and dresses on a regular basis (although not in winter, it's too cold! )
* clothes that cost more than $20! I used to always buy cheap clothes because I would need a bigger size every season so I did a lot of wardrobe replacing. Now that I can trust that something I buy this year will still fit me next year, I spend more money on fewer high-quality items. I still don't pass up a good deal though!
* size small shirts. I used to say "they don't fit because my boobs are too big." Well, that's true, but I also had a ton of fat on my back, chest, and tummy. I do opt for shirts with stretch because of my big boobs though.
* I mentioned this on the other thread, but PENCIL SKIRTS!
* skirts and dresses that hit above the knee
* lots of solid colors other than black

As for beauty care, I've cycled back and forth. I wore makeup and styled my hair for a while when I was heavy, and for a while when I was losing and at goal, but lately I am more interested in an extra 15 minutes of sleep than 15 minutes spent primping. I did get a haircut that requires pretty much zero care though, as long as I get it trimmed every 5 weeks.

I've always wondered how women don't have panty lines under their tight workout pants. Is there some secret I don't know? This is probably TMI but I have one style of workout pants that I actually don't wear underwear under with , just so that I won't have a panty line. They are actually surprisingly comfortable that way and it eliminates the underwear riding up problem that otherwise plagues me.

So count that as something else I never in a million years thought I'd wear--workout pants with no underwear!

Copied and pasted from the "I'll never wear again..." thread.

Things I wear now that I never would have dreamed of:
1. Bikinis!
2. Form-fitting leggings to work out in.
3. Clothing that actually touches my skin.

Given that my list is so short I'm reminded of a lot of things that I probably shouldn't have work b/c they looked awful on me that I wore anyway! Oops...

Ummm... I wear thongs under my workout leggings. You just have to be careful - once I saw this woman who had on those form-fitting black leggings at the gym, and I guess they were worn a bit threadbare, and I could see that her thong wasn't sitting correctly through them.

I have such problems with VPL that thongs are my only solution! People tell me that boyshorts will not produce VPL but that's a lie, and I have too much booty for them anyway!

Sorry I didn't mean to hijack this thread to talk about undergarments. Allison, I still have huge calves too, I still can't wear boots! Ankle boots under jeans only.

I was thinking about it last night, and actually, though I still don't wear boots over my calves, I have actually changed there. I used to go skiing and I needed extenders to snap the ski boots around my calves, they were so big. Now I can go skiing without extenders on the boots. So my calves are still big and I won't wear high boots, but I suppose they are a bit smaller.

- pedal-pushers (I'm so short, I thought they made my legs look like fat little tree stumps! )
- size 2P PANTS !!!!! And I recently bought a size zero petite dress !!!!

The sizes are still amazing to me. Yes, I know there is vanity sizing but still-- I am buying size 4s and 6s! Blows my mind. I couldn't believe when I tried on size 6 pants at Coldwater Creek and they were too big. That is their smallest size. I was always worried about needing sizes bigger than a store carries, but I never thought I would need sizes smaller than a store carried!

I bought a bikini for the first time in a million years. We will see if I can get up the courage to wear it in public!!

I will have to try boots again next winter as my calves were always too big as well. I think they may be smaller now....

LOL about the exercise clothes. I have now bought form fitting clothes but I still wear a big T-shirt over them-- I am still self-conscious. I have the underwear issue too!

A size 12?! Wow! sizes are absolutely amazing! When I look at my pants, I can't believe that my tail end is actually small enough to fit in them. Does anyone else ever feel that way? I think it's my mental picture still trying to catch up with my physical body structure.
I also am thrilled and addicted to exercise clothes. I love wearing cute things and have far too many clothes simply because I think they look great on me (arrogant, sorry). I'm wearing a bra the size I don't think I've been in since I was an older teen, too. I'm still not into sleeveless shirts, but I like to show off some cleavage, though I am too shy to show a lot like many women seem all too willing to do. I've also taking to wearing lace underwear. I think they're sexy and my hubby agrees .
