You are a joy to read and be inspired by. Congrats on a huge and rare accomplishment. I want to say what you said in 4.5 years

And Kery-- yup.. I'm thinking 4 years is the right way to count congrats chicks!

I wish I'd noted the exact date I got down to my current weight, but this November or December will be my eight-year "thinniversary".

My maintenance milestones

* Around the four-year mark, I'd worn out some of my new, smaller clothes. That was huge for me!

* After I lost weight, I kept reading online that only 3-5% of dieters who lose a substantial amount of weight keep it off after five years - glad I never read that before I started losing! As the five-year mark grew closer, I became a bit nervous, thinking I'd regain 90 pounds overnight. Of course, the milestone came and went with no weight gain, so I felt I was really a Qualified Maintainer.

I think I'm addicted to the Dancing Carrot.
