I amazingly did not overeat. Mind you I was full, and ate nothing more after 2 pm in the afternoon (well, a cup of tea ). Our church had a sort of potluck Thanksgiving (but you signed up for a particular dish, so we had all the "regular" holiday stuff). I had a little of everything I like, plus a roll, a piece of my apple pie, and a couple bites of bread pudding. That's it, no loaded plate, no seconds. I wonder who took over my body. I'm still not terrifically hungry this morning, but I had a small bowl of oatmeal. I am thinking I need some protien for lunch though, as I didn't have much yesterday.

Augh. My friend's wife brought a kugelhopf back after school yesterday. No need to say that thing was eaten, uhhh, quite quickly. I can't exactly account for the calories either, because I just have no idea, but the motto of the day is: back on track NOW. 'Nuff said.
I'll update tonight, because I'll be away to see my mother today, so I doubt I'll get the opportunity to do it before (and I must admit, I don't exactly care about doing it before).

1928 a little high, but not too bad. Ran 4 miles in the morning and went to the zoo. It was FREEZING. I had packed turkey for me and leftover dinner rolls and cheese for the kiddos and I did end up eating a couple rolls at the zoo.
Sick today, 2 of the 4 t-day lbs are gone

I need to add a new icon to my list.
 = binged
I binged binged binged, thought I was done binging, then binged some more. Can I blame it on being sick?

I am up 2 lbs, way too much Thanksgiving goodies and difficulties eating well while traveling - two words - date shakes.
I tried to practice portion control. Went to the Original Pancake House (my favorite!) and had ONE cherry crepe and not the usual 3 crepe breakfast. Drank about 1/2 of my date shake and threw the rest away.
Anyway, I have the pressure of a fancy conference in Vegas beginning on Jan 4. I have 3 gorgeous size 6 suits to wear and everything fits perfectly. I HAVE to be focused from now until Christmas, since I know that Christmas will be another 2 lbs.
Monday:
B - 2 pieces of whole grain toast, 1 with ligonberry jam, 1 with natural peanut butter
S - 6 oz blueberries
L - home made salad - spinach, jicama, grape tomatoes, beets, 1/8 cup cranberries, red pepper, red onion, shredded carrot, steamed broccoli, red cabbage, 2 oz baked chicken breast, fat free balsalmic vinaigrette
S - 100 calories of no sugar added cocoa
S - orange
S - cut up veggies (sugar snap peas, carrots, red pepper strips)
D - 2 pieces of home made pizza on whole wheat boboli crust, marinara sauce, spinach, onions, mushrooms, low fat mozzarella, side salad (spinach, grape tomatoes, onions, cauliflower)
*edit* made a batch of spice cake mix muffins with a can of pumpkin instead of vegetable oil. Had one muffin with a smear of maple pumpkin butter - divine.

I'm with you Glory. I didn't gain over T'day, but the quality of my eating, well, let's say it needs improvement. DH figured out that it's 100 days to our Grand Canyon hiking trip. I'll need both clean eating and exercise to be down the at least 5 and hopefully 10 lbs by then.
B - 1/2 cup lf cottage cheese, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1/2 med sized bagel w/whipped cream cheese,
S - apple
L - LC Santa Fe Rice & Beans over romaine, salsa, ff sour cream
S - Yogurt
D - salmon, veggies
