Absolutely never wear make-up (well, I did for my wedding ), and my work clothes consist of jeans or chinos and t-shirts (business casual type, not advertising), with blazers or sweaters. But I love shoes above all else, and love shopping for clothes, even if they're just casual ones. My first concern in a hair cut is "easy to style" and I'm thrilled with the shorter cut I got last week.

I rarely wear makeup either but mostly just because I work from home (I'm an artist) so it's a lot of effort. Sometimes I think I should bother to look a bit nicer for the husband though. Poor Guy. Even when I was working outside the home though I'd only wear it sometimes.

I'm not sure my attitudes on makeup will change, but not having been normal size since a teenager (over 16 years) I have a feeling I'm going to really be bad with the excessive clothes shopping. I rarely buy anything now I hate hate hate shopping and standing infront of that mirror. I haven't bought anything new yet and probaby won't have to until I'm in the 16/18 range.

My little brother got married in june and it took me 2 months to find something I was remotely comfortable in at 290, and didn't look horrible in... and to top it off I didn't even like the outfit that much just choose it because of it being more flattering, and I wore one of those awful spanx type tummy suckers too.

I guess I look forward to things like finding clothing not being as much of a struggle. Being able to wear something other then my daily Jeans and tshirts.

Oh goodie! Another member for the Excessive Clothes Shopping club. We meet regularly in the seasonal clothes shopping threads here in Maintainers and we'll be saving a seat for you.

I don't want to take this thread further off topic, but clothes shopping brought up an interesting thought so I'm going to start a new thread.
