Default First Time Doing TO-Next Mon/Tues

I haven't done Takeoff before and I'm hungry for Onderland. Is anyone keen on doing it with me. I know it will be Halloween but maybe a good day to resist? I have to search through the posts on how to do it but I know there was one saying only 6 ozs of protein, 2 vegs and a whole lot of juice.
Let me know if anyone else wants to be a glutton for punishment!!

Kristen

I plan on doing TO on Monday; Cassi said she planned to do it as well.

Here's all the TO info copied from my files:
Juice or Fruit (4 C of cantalope or 4 oranges)
6 oz protein (recommend you eat the same protein all day)
2 green veggies
& 2 LA Lites

If you use the COD drink, it's 16 oz of their juice and 16 oz water for each day.

Or buy 2 bottles of the Knudsen Morning Blend juice and each day you mix 6 oz water, 26 oz Knudsen's juice and 8 teaspoons Benefiber powder. This seems to be the closest in taste/nutrition to the COD juice.

Sample breakdown as follows:

B - 1 C. cantaloupe
S - LA Lite
L - 3 oz protein
1 green veggie
1 C cantaloupe
S - LA Lite
D - 3 oz protein
1 green veggie
1 c. cantaloupe
S - 1 c. cantaloupe

hey, i'm bumping this thread because i'm new to LAWL and have never done (or heard of) TO and wonder what kind of loss this helps you have. is TO just a kick start like the fast forward thing i did for 2 days when i started the diet last week?

Yes-it's similar to FF-except you use lites and it's more restrictive. Best used once you hit a plateau . . . . .Info on the newbie thread up top.

Sherri - TO (take off) is a kick start to your plan. It can jump start you if you stall for awhile or help get your cravings under control. Some people lose nothing, others 5lbs or so. For the first 9 months or so I lost around 4-5lbs from TO. But the last few months have been more like 2. Your COD will give you the info and sell you the juice when your losses seem to slow. (You can check the newbie thread for more info and substitutes too.)

You can do TO every two weeks, and that's what the 8 week body makeover is about. Just my unsolicited opinion, but I wouldn't do it since you just started. Enjoy the few weeks of quick losses.

And welcome!

thanks! yeah, i'm not planning on doing a TO or another FF, but see references to TO popping up pretty frequently, so just wanted to find out more specifically about it. i'm just trying to get my regular eating under control.
