Color Plans??

  • Hi All,
    I'm still new to the program.....middle of week #3. I've been doing good, steadily moving down the scale, however yesterday (PMS) I was ravenous!! I need more protein!!

    I keep reading/hearing about different color programs.
    I'm on gold. 2P, 3V, 3F, 2S, 1D, 1F, 2 Lt Bars & an ocean of water. Does it have to do with how much you have to lose?? Breastfeeding etc...??

    My Chubby DH has been losing thru osmosis....just by eating better with me. Any idea what a man's plan is?? He is 5'10 and 228.

    Welcome. The plans are basically broken up by how much you have to lose, how much exercise you get in, medical conditions, etc. etc. They say they send your paperwork you fill out to the nutritionist and they determine what plan you should be on. I would say that you DH would probably be on red with lites or red 1 or maybe red 2 without the lites. Red has 2 more oz. on the proteins and more starches, 1/2 protein, and veggies than on gold. Doesn't it make you sick how a man can drop weight so easy!!!LOL
