My DH also tried the vanilla soy and really liked it. I was to chicken to try it I also love the Kashi cereals. I try to switch up and either have a 2oz toasted bagel with SF jam, or banana on it. Once in a while I'll have the egg, veggie patty on the bagel. I don't have the cereal as much, but still like it once in a while.

I know Winkie will chime in, but I wanted to clarify so folks reading this post realize you can't/shouldn't lose 55 pounds in just a couple months.
According to her initial post, Winkie actually started started with the Atkins diet late November of last year. She lost 33 pounds with that program and then started LAWL in May. Either way, Winkie, great progress (looks like you've lost another 22 on LAWL since May which is GREAT). Hope the scale continues to move in the right direction for you! Any other great tips you want to share??

Joni - you took the words right out of my mouth. Thank you for clarifying. Gals, Joni is absolutely correct. I started with the Atkins diet and then switched over to LAWL. My start weight on LAWL was 181.5 on May 8, 2006 and to date I'm officially 160. So, 21.5 pounds lighter. I have no other tips to share, just doing what you all have been doing. It's all about commitment, right!! I just have it in my mind that this is the time for me to do something that is positive for my health. Oh, I have to say that last September I also
quit smoking. So, I've done an complete HEALTH make-over and feel GREAT!!

I was really bad about getting my breakfast in, but I've been better lately.

I have a serving of fruit on the way into work. Then, at work I will microwave 3 oz. of egg beaters (1/2P) and put onto a 4"pita or (my favorite) a La Tortilla Factory tortilla (50 calories for the whole thing, and counts as 1S), with a slice of RF cheese. Breakfast is 1fr, 1/2P, 1S, and I can pre-pack the eggs the night before. I spray some pam into a microwavable bowl and then put in the egg beaters, morton's salt and some pepper, and the nuke for about a minute and a half at the office!
