Default First 2lbs & Pizza

Good Morning,

I just had to share with someone who understands.

I LOST MY FIRST 2lbs YIPEEEE Most people don't understand how exciting that is but I knew you all would!!!!!!!


Now the pizza ? I work at a dental office and we have CPR training tonight and they are ordering pizza for our break, can I have any and if so is their a better combination? You see I have not told any one here yet cause I am so scared of failing so I know they would all wonder whats up cause I love pizza!

You can have plain pizza and count it as a carb craver (1P). On purple, you are allowed 2 slices, on gold you're allowed 1. Just drink an extra 2 glasses of water to make up for the added sodium.

Oh, you can also add veggies to the pizza...and pat off any extra oil on top.

Also, if you have the time, you can pick up some "starch blocker" from your local drug store or vitamin store. It's all kidney bean extract, and works as well and is much cheaper than the LAWL one.

Take it 30 mins before your pizza, have your slices, and enjoy!

And congrats on the 2 lbs. - when you WI 3x/wk, you start counting any ounce you can. Any move down the scale is great!

Kelly did you start the plan yet or are you still on takeoff? if you are on takeoff i dont think you can have pizza (my fav food also). On the carbcravers menu pizza counts as 1P, this is for 1slice plain or veggy. If its like Pizza Hut it counts as 1/2 P and 1 S which is how i always count my pizza, so if you saved your 2 starches you can have 2 slices but there is alot of sodium in pizza so do have the extra water. Congrats on your 2lb loss. Also its up to you if you tell people you are dieting but i always find it to be a good thing so that way it wont be so easy for you to fall off because everyone knows. Believe in yourself, dont think about failing because its not an option. Never doubt yourself. You are doing great!

~~ Congrats on the 2 lbs ~~ These days a pound loss is a pound loss!

Pizza is my downfall because its so convenient; these days with the kids being home and so much going on, its hadr to plan meals. Maybe add a salad to your dinner too to help feel satisfied.

Also, someone said they had carb cravers at the local drug store .. Do they work? I've never used them before

Before-it would not be uncommon for me to eat three to four slices.
What I have found is to stay on plan, it helps to have a big leafy lettuce salad before- our pizza place makes a nice, simple tossed salad. Then I am more full before I start eating the pizza.
The difficult thing for me is the cold pizza that sits in the fridge.....

Oh, me too. It calls my name all night. I am still a closet eater, even after 10 months on LAWL. I will sneak in early in the morning before anyone gets up and snag a handful of toppings. Like if no one sees it does not count.

LOL thats funny, i can totally relate and i so do that. Pizza is also my weekness, i love pizza & steak, my 2 fav foods. We get pizza almost every saturday and i save my 2 starches just so i can have 2 slices even though after 1 i'm stuffed but i take some time in between so i get my 2 because i know its about a week until i eat another slice, how bad is that?
