obtaining the $$$ refund during maintainance
 

In the contract I signed, it said you must use 1 LA Lite a day throughout maintenance to qualify for your monetary refund reward. I have an opportunity to purchase a large volume of LA lites from a woman who bailed on the plan but paid for all her bars, and just wants to recoop some of her $$. She is willing to sell me 40 weeks of bars for only $300.00.

Do I have to buy the bars through the center to qualify? It would seem they can't force you into buying from them. but there's always a catch somewhere.

Any info??

I am under the impression you have to buy them from the center (of course they would huh?) in order to get the refund but I think too you have to decide if the refund is worth the amount you save buy buying them elsewhere--just a thought

No you dont have too, I bought mine off EBay and I told them that is where I got them. It does not say you have to purchase them from them. Also alot of the girls use Luna and Pria bars and dont tell there COD that they are. You could check with the COD and let them know that you are thinking of purchasing them from some where else and dont tell them where and see what they say. But go to the Friends thread and ask everyone and see what they all say.

what if you cant eat them then do you just not get your money back or what? I told them in the consultation that I was allergic to dairy and so they said they werent going to even try to give me the lites and they never try to push any of their other products on my becahse most if not all contain some kind of dairy. I should ask them tomorrow at WI and see what they say!!

what do you do for your dairy then? I just don't like dairy (never have had milk in my life and was on formula until i was 5 because i refused to drink milk) so I am force to eat cheese daily for my dairy. (don't like shakes, or yogurt either, but I do like the yogurt that is icecream:dizzy: )

They told me that Soy Milk counts as a Dairy so I just have that. It isnt as bad as I thought it would be but I always try to mix it with something and I usually get the Silk Vanilla. Doesnt taste so much like milk (which I too cant stand but I think thats a psychological thing now bc i associate anything dairy with pain) :barf:

also I checked with my center and in the contract it says "as directed by the center" and my counselor said that since they forbid me to use any of their products that it wont effect my refund.
