thanks for all your replies. I ended up going a little overboard tonight, eeeeekkkkk!!!! I won't say I blew it but it really wasn't that bad. I went to a co-workers going away party at a local sports bar. I did make MUCH better choices than I would have before so that's gotta count for something and I also drank 4 huge (20+ oz each) glasses of water (2 of them I squeezed lemons into) and NO soda. I had a salad with my burger (I also had a large salad portion with the lasagna for lunch). The holiday season is just so hard.
I do have to give myself a MAJOR pat on the back for not eating ANY of the candy, cookies, cake, doughnuts, or other goodies sitting around the clinic. It's been a whole week since I've eaten any of that stuff
So for the next couple of days I'm going to be VERY good and really watch my portions and get in all my water (extra too!!!). I'm also going to find things I can bring for lunch on Thursdays. I'll have to be pretty darn creative as I don't have refridgeration where I go and standard ice packs don't keep long enough.
It's bedtime, I better go home and hit the sack.
