Hiya chickies!

I think my plateau is finally busted too - I was down .6 today, bringing my loss to 6.2 since 10/7. Which is pretty good.

About the fruit - I picked up two cans of the smoothie mix today, which is a fruit replacement. So I'm going to try that to see if I can get all my fruits in. Also, picked up the vanilla and chocolate shake mixes to switch off with the bars - has anyone tried those with frozen fruit in a blender? It's not icecream, exactly, but it could pretty close - hopefully! Ice cream and frosting are my own faves -- cannot stay away from them.

Oh, I want to take that trip on that harley too.

I'm going to be on a road trip in the northwest next July - maybe we can have a chick reunion? I'm planning to go thru Idaho and Montana- what should I see?

to all of us!
Dawn - what great news on the grade and the WI!

Fiona - terrific news on the test results!

Sammy -- great news on the plateau busting!

Laureen - agree with you on the WW choices, that has been the hardest thing for me this go around. Ask your center about the carb craver. I was complaining about starch variety, and they handed me the list. Depending on what menu (purple/gold) the portion sizes change - but for me, having 2 ounces of pasta with veg, and counting as a protein sounds wonderful. Havent tried it yet, since I've been worried about the plateau. Plan to this week.

Amy - see if your center has the 2004 calendar - there is a recipe for beef chili in it - no beans. It says it comes from the cookbook. It counts for a protein and 2 veg, but you could still add lettuce.

Thanks, chickies, for listening to me rant until I broke the plateau.

Hugs -
Julie

forgive me for asking such a basic question, but what does lawl stand for? I have looked in various places but havent found the answer yet. All I could think of was Los Angeles Weight Loss.

thanks, Jan

HI,
Kristi you still have done great!! I wish I was in the 120 's. Do you exercise?

Julie, I will check on the carb cravers, but I wouldn't have known about it If I didn't find this website. I do have the cookbook and have made some of the dishes and they are good, just have to adjust the portions as they are geared to 1 person, I still have 3 kids home to feed!! Thanks bunches.

Kristi-Girlfriend good luck to you tommorrow!!! Stabalization.....such sweet words! Can't wait to join you hopefully in one month!!!!

Julie-Going through Idaho huh? I am an Idahoan and love my state! I am from Boise/Eagle area and Boise is really a fun spot to visit!!! It's a nice stop over from the desserty area before heading to Oregon! Look me up we can have lunch!!! Way to go on the plateau breaker!

Dawn-You are probably out drinking it up while I was at the school carnival!!! Hope you had a good safe time! I have not had one drink since being on LA. I think it is because it is to hard to stop at one...... Congrats on the grades!! Remind me what you are going to school for? I have two huge tests Tuesday and I am dreading both of them!! So are you done or do you have more classes starting soon? Where do you go to school??? Girl, when you are that close to a new avitar you go ahead and reward yourself!! Blame it on the extra glass of water you had on the way to the center!!

Laureen-90's seem so long ago! It is so cold, wet and rainy here!!

Star-did you make it back to work in the hour? My husband always seems women on Harleys and melts and then says you know that would be a "sweet" thought to have about you but I know as clumsy as you are you would fall off.... That is our hopes for retirement a Harley built for two!!!

Hello to everyone else! I am off to dreamland it took me three hours to clean house/catch up on laundry. We have soccer and the forcast is rain. How I would love a mocha to take with me....

WOOOHOOO!! She kept grabbing her chin like I had lost weight in my face! I love that!! So it made the carnival that much more worth it!

Sammy and all - I was so good last night, it was scary! I only had one drink all night and someone brought birthday cake and set it right next to me and I resisted! Wow - this is scary!!

I am going to Eckerd College for a BA in Business Management. I have 3 classes left and just started my Business Comprehensive Exams this week. There was a mix-up with the dates on the school website and I missed my first class. This class in very intense and teams have to do huge case studies and presentations. Because I missed that class and I will be out of town the day my team presents, I will now be doing this on my own as a directed study. I have 16 weeks to complete it instead of 8 in the regular class, and don't have to do presentations, just write 3 case studies. This is really scary because it is a very difficult class and I don't want to mess up my GPA - 3.98. I have a friend in the class and she is going to help me with her notes. I have 16 weeks, but I want to be done before my next 2 classes start in mid-Jan. I will be totally done with school in mid-Mar. which is also my goal weight date. The reason I joined LAWL was to be at my goal when I graduate. I'm down 15 and my goal is 50, so I'm well on my way!

I guess my weight loss is finally showing too. A guy at work said he could tell I was losing weight. It's so nice when the guys notice!

Well I better get busy. I am having a Home Interiors party for a bunch of women next week and need to get the house cleaned and more stuff unpacked. I only moved in here in July - you can't expect everything to be unpacked right away!

Default Hello Everyone!

Hi Ladies!!!

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend. Once again, I am AT WORK. I weighed in this morning, and I seem to be stuck, but I'm not too concerned since it's cycle time .

Dawn - You are a strong woman! Congratulations on your will power. Please send some of that my way! Good luck on your exams as well.

Jan - Hi there! I have no idea what LA stands for in LA Weight Loss either.

Sammy - I can't wait for someone to notice my progress. It's still a little early for me, and I can only feel a slight difference. Good for you - that must be a wonderful feeling!!!

Well, my boss calls. I haven't had time to respond to everyone's posts, but good luck to you all and congratulations to the BIG LOSERS!!!

Hi chicks!

Meant to check in yesterday, but life got in the way!

Sammy, I'd love to meet up with you for lunch in Boise(or wherever) next July. I'm going to be in Reno, and thought I'd tack on a week to travel around the Northwest, since I've never seen it.
And isn't it nice when someone notices our hard work!

Dawn, what terrific will power!

Someone mentioned alcohol - I've been staying away from it, since I don't think I could have one glass either. Although I guess I could have 3 glasses for my all my fruit that day, and that would be it for a week. That's probably not what they intended, though.

Hi Tootsweet, I just joined the board a couple of weeks ago. I've found out more from this board than I have from my center. I started LAWL on 10/4.

Laureen, woohoo on going down, and especially for your daughter. I know how tough it is to stick to a program at that age.

Anyone - Where do you find the trackers at???

Julie

hey gals,
I had my w/i on Saturday morning, down .2, but hey I will take it. I've been a little slack this week, but I was still down 2.2lbs for the week.

I tried that ticker factory thing, but I don't think mine worked.

Unhappy The Weekend's Over Already...

Hello Everyone!

Well, I took today off, though I was supposed to go in. I'm am soooo incredibly tired! With this busy schedule, I haven't been able to get all my foods in, so that's my goal in the week going forward. Wish me luck!

Welcome to the board, TootSweet. I love checking in here. I don't know what I would do without the support and all the success stories.

By the way, did any of you see the Biggest Loser on T.V. last night? I couldn't believe these people are losing up to 22 pounds in 1 week! In fact, I didn't even think that was safe. If it is, sign me up! A new body and a chance at $250,000 - I'm ready to go

Tams - for the Ticker Tracker, cut and paste the "bb" code into your signature, and it will work for you.

Laureen - congratulations to you and your daughter. I think it's awesome that you all are going at this together.

Kristi - congratulations again on your move to stabilization. You're where I want to be. Keep us posted and let us know how things are going. Also, thanks for the exercise tips. I haven't been too successful in sticking to my regimen due to long hours at work, but I hope that will change soon.

Julie - I'm glad you're over that plateau. Those have always been tough for me. In fact, I'm in the middle of one now, and it happens at cycle time every month. I can hardly wait to begin losing again.

Well, everyone, have a great week. Good luck at those weigh-ins.
