Okay, I think I solved the age old LAWL vegetarian question: how to you account for vegetarian proteins? I've done some research and here is my thought: A.) Meat has virtually no carbs, B.) Veggi meats have mod-high carbs, therefore, C.) You must average the amount of carbs in one starch exchange and count your veggi-carbs towards your starches. Make sense to anyone else? My theory is whatever carbs you have in your "meats" must count toward an average starch exchange (average 16-ish grams of carbs per starch on Plan 2). We'll see if it holds true as I will be eating this way now and we'll see where it takes me on the scale...
