Good Luck everyone!
I am on day 7 and I am dying to get on the scale but I will wait!! The only slip up I have had is that I ate a couple bites of cake last night for my birthday. I literally had to because my 6 year old son decorated it for me and he was so proud!

OK so I didn't make the start date.
i still don't have the book, and realised on Sunday that i had a whole refridgerator full of non compliant food! I have been assured the book is on the way, and I am working through the chicken and ham, so hopefully will be ready next week. NO MORE EXCUSES!!!

I was suppose to start today again. I did fine for breakfast, but today was a clinical day and I forgot to pack a snack. So yeah, hopefully I have better success tomorrow.

Hello my fellow smashers!
Well it's day 2 in P1 and I fell off the wagon just a tad...I ate a chicken wing. You know the little scrawny one with the tip? Not the mini drumstick. Anyway, I felt bad but not too bad. I mean I at least didn't go in and have the full breast!
I think my slip-up was due to the fact that I'm not following the eating schedule correctly. I ate at 8am, then had a snack at 11am, but had nothing until 5pm! By then I was a fiend and trying very very hard not to devour the whole rotisserie chicken I bought for my daughter's dinner!
I will try to stick to a more realistic every 4hrs schedule tomorrow and hopefully I won't stumble. Besides all of that, I'm feeling pretty good!
Tomorrow we conquer aerobics!

how's everyone doing?
this is kind of killing me...but i'm still going. this is the end of day 5. i'm nervous about weighing in next wednesday. (after phase 1 is complete). it generally takes me about a month of dieting before i even see a pound change which SUCKS.
it feels good to be doing it though...i do find myself starting to have more energy...i find it incredibly hard when i have unscheduled days away from home (and not at work/school) and i'm walking around with meals in my purse haha.
how's everyone else finding it?

Jiggles77- Making it to Day 5 is awesome! (That’s the longest I have even been able to make it without cheating) Don’t be scared of that scale if its just one pound down that is a huge accomplishment (though I’m hoping for more for you hehe). I feel like I have technically made it through detox but I have not made it through 9 days straight (if that makes any sense). My main thing is cheating on the weekends if I can get that under control then I will be okay. I exercise about 45 minutes a day doing a workout video and eat right but when Saturday hit there is something in my brain that says eat as much “bad” food as possible. My original plan was to stay on detox until either next month or when I get close to my goal. I do feel good because I have lost 6lbs even with all of my weekend cheating. So today is starting over for me AGAIN. My goal is to stay within the allowed foods and workout everyday this week.
Good Luck to you.
P.S. The hardest thing for me was to stay off the scale. I am used to weighing myself every other morning.

OK, I finally got started. Still don't have the book, who knows when that will turn up, but I think I have read enough on here to get started. I had oatmeal for breakfast (luckily I like it) and have also had a handful of grapes and a banana. Looking forward to soup in about half an hour - homemade with fresh veggies and toasted curry powder - it's delish. I know I will fall off the plan at the weekend, but if I can do 5 days I will be so proud!
Brook - well done on the 6 pounds - that's amazing!

Brook506-thanks! now it's to the end of day 8, so i'm pretty happy about that.congrats on losing 6 lbs! don't be too hard on yourself about the saturdays...you're clearly not toally sabatoging yourself.staying off the scale has been hard for me too...until i remember that i probably haven't lost any wieght yet...haha.
Clockaleanie-good luck getting started. there is a lot of information on here for you and lots of people to helpp if you have any questions!
i'm a little worried...i'm going away in a couple weeks on vacation. i've accepted the fact that i'm not going to be anywhere near my target weight by then but what i'm most worried about is gaining while i'm there. it's for a wedding so i don't want to be strict dieting or anything. (i was going to take the week as a break from fat smash then start over when i got back) i just hope i can trust myself enough to eat somewhat moderately...

Hello all!
Tomorrow is day 9 for me and I've been cheating something horrible! I had some meatballs last night and some spinach dip! Trying hard not to be too hard on myself, but I can't help but feel a bit upset! I mean it's almost as if I'm sabotaging myself or something! I plan on staying on the detox for another couple of days to attempt to undo the damage I've done, but I can't promise I won't check the scale! It's also been pretty hard to get moving! My workouts have been sporadic at best!
It feels great being able to share with you all and it helps to keep me motivated!

Good Morning All
So for whatever reason I am not motivated at all this week I can usually stay on track during the week. I think I am getting tired of the food choices but I am going to have to suffer through it because I kept cheating. I did work out last night BUT had Taco Bell before that. Then my job is having this huge potluck on Friday. Though I will not eat food that people cook there will be a ton of delicious store brought items that I am going to be tempted with. My plan was to start over today so I just attempted to eat some oatmeal but took two bits and just can’t do it today. Luckily I have some fruit with me that I will eat instead but I think this week is going to be a huge bust for me.
