Yes I would love a buddy I will be starting on Monday (10/5) also. I had a baby five months ago and want to lose the rest of the baby weight plus some extra. I was about 129-134 before I got pregnant and I am 146-149 now (will weigh in on Monday)..I really want to get down to 116 I am only 5'2

Hello ladies, well we could use this thread to post our progress each day and to post whatever feelings you have.

This will be my second time doing phase 1 I also did it last april when I first starting dieting Ive been off track for a while. I think this phase helps to get cravings under control if you complete the nine days. So im off to grocery shop and I will you good luck!

Okay Ladies today is the start day. I weighed myself this morning in at 146 or 147 (my scale so old lol). I am now having my oatmeal mixed with a bannana and strawberries. Not the best or worst thing I have ever eaten

Good afternoon so far today I ate a large apple one six ounce yougurt and i had two cups of corn. I weighed in at 240 this morning. GOod luck!

brook- how is it going?

Well I completed day one and I had the home made brown rice pudding last night and I must say it was slamming lol!

I hope you guys hang in there! Good luck. My first time around I lost 12lbs in nine days. Hopefully I do just as good this time around I also work out so that should help. Ill be taking a step sculpt class tonight

I did really good yesterday but I wanted White Castle SOOOO bad last night but I didn't do it . I still feel like I ate to much though.


For Breakfast. I had oatmeal with banana and strawberries cut up in it
Snack.. Carrots and a piece of cucumber
Lunch. Yogurt with peach and strawberry cut up...an apple and grapes
Snack..Bannana
Dinner. Instant brown rice (still not sure if instant is okay) with steamed green peppers, broccoli and onion mixed in with green beans on the side.

Then I did a 30 minute workout video last night. I didnt have the enrgy to do the entire 50 minutes but I will tonight

How did you ladies do

I dont think you at to much and the fact that you worked out was a plus. I didnt get to workout yesterday but I visit the gym today.

I cooked a big pot of brown rice so that I dont have to make it daily just in case. Im doing fine no cravings so Im praying!

since we don't have white castle in florida (thank GOD!!!), my vice is dunkin donuts coffee (sugar and extra cream, please). but after a couple of weeks on the diet, i don't really crave it anymore. and then, when you see how flat your stomach is and you see the thighs of your jeans start to get a little loose, you think "well, is white castle really worth it?" and then when you fit into those jeans that you have been saving because you paid too much for them and then quickly out grew them (not, of course, that that happened to me!), you will realize that the answer to that question is "NO!"

and i think that the instant is ok, but the real stuff tastes MUCH better!!!

Raygunclan, you are absolutely right and that’s why I decided against the white castle. The instant rice wasn’t TO BAD but I like my rice really soft so maybe I will go get some of the real stuff with a rice cooker. I’m glad this phase 1 is fairly easy because I am a horrible cook I had trouble making the instant brown rice it’s really kind of sad.

I am not sure maybe you should compare the ingredients I use the regular brown rice though.
